0:10 Hello, I'm Kimberly and I'm Laura and today we're talking about Successful spiritual entrepreneurship. That is a mouthful. Yeah, say that five times fast Well, we wanted to talk about how we kind of The process we went through to get to this place because a lot of people ask us You know, it's sort of the dream for some people to be able to make money doing what they love So that is that's what we do we make money and we we do we love so we have a lot of people asking us about it Especially in the spiritual community. So we figured we would Stab at us. Yeah, put together some info for you Some of the things that we've been through I think for me. It's like I didn't even I don't think I ever really think a lot About what I'm doing. I'm just always doing, you know From the minute I started this work It was more about I seen how it affected me So I wanted to help other people in the same way and I don't I don't think I ever had The thought that I wouldn't be successful. I think that's what's different for me than a lot of people and you know We'll see what you say about that But I just thought what a beautiful thing to do and I've always believed that there's lots of work out there

1:28 It's I think I think when you start realizing how abundance works It's you have to have the thought that it's a possibility and I guess I've always thought I was abundant no matter How that looked in in my bank account, you know I've always felt like I had an abundant life and even you know, there's stages of life where You know as a child you still felt abundant because you could always see people that had it harder than you and Get the speaker closer to my mouth It's hard and I think it's just your own awareness of where you are within your life and what your experience has been and you know I've had a lot of a lot of what you would call really hard ship in life, but I Think it's been really good for me And I think it's good for anybody because life is not supposed to be something that you just Every day you don't have to worry and you don't have to struggle. I think light and darkness are both needed I think positive and negative are needed I think you have to know what it's like to struggle so that you can enjoy when you're not struck. Oh for sure Like I think the there's like a learning curve here, obviously like we're not We're not saying that any we jumped into it and knew exactly what to do

2:47 But the beginning place for you is very key that beginning place of realizing that You can create whatever you need to and whatever you need is out there And that is is the first piece that is lacking for a lot of people. So let's break that down a bit Because I I run into this a lot and I'm sure you do too where people are saying well How did you how did you do this and when when you do look at it? The first step is realizing that anything is available to you if you Like if you desire it and you feel compelled and pulled towards it That's a sign from your soul that that is available to you. Absolutely So does it mean that you're gonna be an overnight success? No in in any business It can take quite a while of working and plugging away at it before it becomes a success And so anytime somebody comes to me and they're asking me like I want to start a spiritual business My advice always is don't put the pressure on your business of making money until you absolutely are ready Because you know, I don't know I know for you it was a little bit different because You you had already decided that you were gonna go in the On the path of taking Reiki you probably didn't know what you were exactly with it

4:07 But You were moving on that path already and you were already kind of moving out of your current work but for some people they have the ability and the privilege to stay in their job and Still continue to develop as a spiritual being and decide, you know, where they want to land with a spiritual kind of work like getting paid for it and So I always say to people like if you can do that That's a really a good idea because you don't put the pressure of making money on Something so Beautiful that is part of your spiritual Unfoldment. This is like that your spiritual self is Much more important than any job you're ever gonna do You know, it's it's you. It's your self-development. It's your unfoldment. It's your connection to the universe It's a sacred part of you And so don't put pressure on it to make money until you until you're ready for that You know until you feel like you can so for some people I'll say if money is the issue Then just make sure that you have some money set aside like maybe have a plan for there for it Prepare for it, right? Well, we do have to prepare for success. There is sure there is a prepare piece And then there's a leap so you have to know when to take the leap but but yeah, this belief that

Where does that come from and that belief comes from the place of Knowing that you are part of the collective that you are worthy of Success you're a worthy worthy of doing the things that you love to do that the universe will support you When you're doing the things that are meant for you and aligned with you and then people say well How do I know what's aligned? Well, you know, yeah, you can feel it You can feel it right like when something's aligned with you you feel like you are in the flow You feel like you can expand you can do anything that is on your path. You feel like things come to you easily It doesn't mean that it's not hard work. No, and it doesn't mean that when you get it's like people I like the word like you feel like you've arrived, right?

6:14 But that doesn't mean I always say that there's so many different levels of healing and growth and we're never done So even you and I we've been in the work for 20 years And you know, I've been doing this full-time for 20 years and you've been working I think almost the same amount of time or close to it. Yeah, I think it's been I've been doing readings for 20 years, but I think full-time it's been more like 15 years. Yeah, let's do yeah But I think the thing that I love about life and no matter how well you're doing at different stages of life It's it's like you still you're it's I think people think that they're untouchable once they have arrived And that's not true. I because I look at you and I and how many struggles we've had to get here And we're still having struggles. There's there's health issues that pop up. There's financial issues that pop up they're stretching and Expanding ourselves, you know, and you do hit walls. Yeah, and and it's okay But you have passion like well, we have passion for a work And that's a big thing to remember is you got to do something that you're willing to fight for, right?

7:26 You know you had to do something You got to do something you're gonna be when the challenges come you're gonna be like, it's okay. This is hard, but it's Yeah, it hit me real good this morning, you know, yeah, because we have to pick something that we feel like We feel energetic about we feel like there's energy in it We feel like it's worthwhile and it's worthwhile for you and for other people You can't just you can't just say on a whim like, oh, I don't know I'm gonna be a Reiki practitioner and see what happens like if it doesn't feel like passion to you Then it May be a difficult road. It will be a difficult. Yeah, you know Like I felt really passionate about bringing the spirit world Communication to people. Mm-hmm. I just I saw how How healing it was I saw how amazing it was for people when they like could talk to their loved ones I could see how immediately they released pain and suffering and grief and so I was like, this is it This is the ticket, you know, I think that's one of the things that you know I love how open and vulnerable and transparent we are with our listeners But I think that's one of the things that was really apparent to me when I met you is I watched you do group readings

8:44 And I watched you connect with people and I fell in love with I mean I've all I think I love you since the second I met you but I felt more and more in love with you because I was watching you do something that was very important to me And I wanted to give more and more people the opportunity to experience you Right and I just love that So many times with our relationship. There's this mirror where I feel I feel being with somebody who thinks and loves and You know enjoys this work in this life the way I do has It gives you more permission to be you and I think that's such a gift and I'm so grateful for that every day So, you know, well, thank you Laura. Oh, you're so I know we love fast. We both love the quote There's no one you were than you yeah, Dr. Seuss Yeah, and I think that's really key in a spiritual business is that you Cannot do things that are not you, right?

9:45 So if you're pushing yourself because I've had people say to me Oh, everybody told tells me I should take this course or that course and that I would make money But I can feel it. There's no there's no love in it. There's no passion. There's no like they're just sort of like Well, if I do that I can make money. I'm like, no Even if you're a spiritual person and you're picking something because you just want to you just want to make money and be successful It's not gonna work because there's no love in it. There's no passion There's not the right kind of energy to keep it going. Mm-hmm. Absolutely. I agree and the thing That's beautiful to me is I've really noticed like, you know, like I said again, Laura and I've struggled lots I go from Halifax to New Brunswick to work every month and I make most of my money there, you know, and It's not that I don't work when I'm in Halifax But I the bulk of my work is here because my business is here and my license is here and everything So but the thing I notice is I'll have these periods of time where I'll have like a come-to-Jesus moment with Excuse me with myself and I'll be like, listen I'm not happy with where I'm at right now and I don't like the way I'm struggling. So, you know last year I think it was in February usually that's when I get a lot of downloads for the year and I was

11:05 Literally I allow myself to be angry at the universe because the the universe is Unapologetically itself. It doesn't give a shit if I'm mad Yeah, you know, it's not gonna be like, oh, I'm sorry Kimberly like you're upset. I'm gonna like here But I think there is a flow of energy Well, I know there is I because I'm in it, but I just basically said to the universe I don't know what I'm missing here I don't know what the next step is for me because you know a lot of times I do know But we're not perfect and we're not supposed to know so, you know But I had this come-to-Jesus moment where I was like, listen I'm gonna open up all the doors and windows, but I need more income. I need things to be easier I'm tired of being in this amazing place with this amazing Relationship and all these things and I I made the choice to leave New Brunswick and and be in Halifax with my wife And all these things so, you know, but I I got angry and I said I shouldn't have to suffer But I think and I'm not going to anymore and just like that Everything started turning around and I was grateful and But it was me saying listen And I think the thing is it's almost like this mirror effect where you send it out into the universe But you got to see what you're sending as well and what you're thinking and you got to eliminate that from your your

12:22 Your dialogue, but I think that's the point is that just because you pick something that's aligned with you You have passion you have belief you are working hard It doesn't mean you're not you're not going to still have challenges and so we still have challenges within our business mm-hmm always all the time and The reason why we continue to move forward and the reason why we continue to strive and have success is Because we are co-creating with the universe, but we understand the nature of the universe Absolutely, so we understand that we're not we're not always going to understand why maybe we're not as busy But what Kim did when she said to the universe like I'm gonna do everything I can I'm gonna open all the doors and windows I'm flexible. I'm open But I need more money because I need to support myself So what she's doing is she's actually building that contract with the universe absolutely to say we're we're gonna write a contract between me and you and My side of it is this is what I'm gonna offer and this is what I need from you to continue So we are in service in in a spiritual business You're in service of the universe. You're in service of other people. You are not in this To purely make money, right, but here's the thing the money is a representation of energy, right? It's currency

13:45 Mm-hmm. So currency has to flow for you to continue to Have your business because we are the reality is we are human We have human needs and some of those human needs require funds Right, so I think doesn't go if it's empty. So do we ask This is kind of we're moving into something a little bit different, but do we ask doctors to Offer their services for free Talented doctors we do not know right because that is their talent. That is their life purpose. That is their path So why are we asking spiritual? Practitioners to offer services for free or to charge less than what they should right It's because people have this idea that if you're spiritual You are whole like you're somehow holier or your energy is higher and you're closer to God And you shouldn't charge for services that God offers, but doesn't God offer that same Opportunity to a doctor to be a genius in Yeah, and it's an inventor a scientist Doesn't God offer the same ability and gift to a teacher a lawyer like why we can't ask an athlete, right?

15:05 So we can't ask those people to operate in this world without pay and income Well, that's creating an automatic block right there But that's it that exact sentence just I can see it that is a money block that a lot of spiritual entrepreneurs have Because they believe that this is a God-given gift. How can I charge for it? Oh, maybe I won't or maybe I'll give for free or maybe I'm not as I'm not it You know as worthy as another practitioner down the street So I can't charge as much as them or maybe if if I suffer a bit then somebody else won't have to suffer And that comes right back to the cross. So yeah, this thought that this is you know You have to do at the cost of you. There is no God that would ever agree with right So so let's just squash that belief right now number one You and you are true. Yeah, you are not here to suffer No, you are not here to suffer for other people's comfort. That is not why we are we are here and we are connected to an abundant ever-expanding beautiful moving flowing universe Yes, so I often have people come to me They say oh, I feel blocked and what what it comes down to is they don't really believe that they are worthy of

16:22 The ability that the universe has actually already given them I agree 100% and if you don't believe it, how can you it? How can you attract something you don't believe in and you know myself? I've gone through lots of things and recently I'm going through more It's it's like yay. I get to figure out. I'm human all the time. I love that but the more I believe It's like it's there and then sometimes I get thrown against the wall and I you know anybody that knows me knows how bloody Passionate which you know stubborn. Oh dear God. I believe beyond belief. So how do you go with that? You know and something happens stores your rate off track and it takes you a little bit to get your footing again But you always get it. Mm-hmm. You're always going to be okay And and I've had loads of those moments in my life where you know like there's lots of times when my kids were young that Nobody knew I had no money. I didn't let I want that I had it no money because in my mind I was rich even though in the moments I didn't have as much cash or money in the bank as I would have liked to I felt rich in the life I was still living and and that's expanded as I've expanded And we talked about this in the manifesting episode that when you feel You feel wealthy or abundant and abundance comes in many many forms

17:41 So you can be abundant in love and family relationships You can be abundant in you know your your work as well and money and housing and all that But but abundance comes in many many forms Mm-hmm. So to know and be grateful and feel wealthy in abundance doesn't necessarily mean money But it can be part of it like it can be part of the equation Well even for me even being somebody who's in a space where like right now I can look out the window and I can see all the beauty of nature and you know We're staying at a friends today, you know this week So we're you know, we're at her beautiful home and you look at the back window and there's there's a lake And there's all this beautiful scenery and the other night We were watching the fireflies and we were like two little kids in the window watching them And I I was getting the biggest kick out of Laura being so like Fascinated by how many there were and they were just up high and down low and they were doing a whole show for us So I think for me The richness I feel most days is the fact that I'm an awareness of the beauty and the life That we're able to live in this beautiful universe And I think that that alone is is the abundance that if I had no other Abundance the fact that I could see beauty in the world and I felt it and I'm enjoying it

19:01 And I learn every day more about how I can nurture that Oh man, I feel rich just within that. Well, and that is the feeling to be in to be in Because the universe is never blocked, you know the flow of the universe the the currency the energy Well, I think of consciousness as this continuous River this flow of energy and the universe is always moving always acting always growing and expanding It's never blocked. So why do we we're a reflection of the universe? Why do we feel blocked? Usually it's because we've been taught limiting beliefs You know about about how things are, you know and and this comes from well-meaning people that Don't want to see you maybe get too excited about something and then be disappointed They want to protect you but that protection doesn't it doesn't fly when you're working with the universe because you don't need any Protection working with the universe or when you feel like you've been taught and again Like you said, there's no judgment to the people or you know family friends. Whoever that's that's creating it but You know that you have to work really hard and and again it goes back to that suffering. Yeah, but you you don't have to You know the truth is

20:16 I work I work hard. We work hard. It's not that but we work If I compare it to being in the hustle and bustle of of life before the spiritual Work, I would say that I I feel almost like I'm semi-retired meaning We do not work 40 hours a week. We do not like get up and go to work for eight o'clock and I work till five o'clock We have so much more Um, what's the word I'm looking for like freedom within our work and it's so much more meaningful I feel like we're fuller But yeah, so what is freedom freedom is flow, right? There is no blocks or resistance When you tell yourself that you got to grind you got to work you got to get this going you got to do this What you'll find in a spiritual business is it will create resistance Absolutely So you're pushing pushing pushing, but that pushing is not flow. You're not allowing We're trusting the communication to the universe is you are saying that I don't trust you to make this happen for me So I'm going to push harder and harder and harder and I'm going to make this happen for myself But the universe says well, you can't you need my help But you're putting up a wall to allow me to help you to allow me to create you're not taking the universe's hand

21:34 Right, you know, it's like you're you're going no and I did this believe me years and years ago in my other life Um, I did do that. I felt like I had to work hard and I worked 16 hour days And if anything I could definitely be called a workaholic However, now I work differently and I still need to learn to slow down. I'm not you know But my thing is I love so many different things That if I just do a little bit of this and a little bit of that I'm still You know, I still find that I'm working all the time But I'm trying to listen more to what the universe really wants For me as I move forward into the next stage of my life And isn't it true That being a workaholic It usually stems from the limiting belief that I'm not enough myself Yes, I have to Be different push harder Do more be more absolutely in order to be successful I agree So that is key. That's really key that limiting belief that you're not enough You are always enough cut those cords. You are always enough fry them up. You are you are born Worthy you are born with that magic inside of you

22:53 You don't have to strive to be different. No, and I think that is a really Key point because if you're not aligned within yourself A spiritual business cannot align with you And so you've got to align with everything you are You've got to be in that alignment So for me I was pushing and trying and you know, I was trying to be a good teacher and I was pushing really hard I was only getting five hours of sleep at night and I was making sure all my marking was done And I was volunteering at the school and push push push And it kind of backfired on me because not only did I burn myself out The actual energy of striving and pushing and striving and pushing and trying to be something that I wasn't Counterproductive It was counterproductive even in my relationships at work because people started to treat me almost like I wasn't good enough And that I didn't know what I was talking about and they didn't respect me And so it was like my peers were picking up on my energy of how I felt insecure in my job Yeah, and I had to I didn't see all this when I was working I was just like plugging away just like just like the robot producing the work produce the work produce the work

24:11 Be everybody's everything and trying to do I thought what I was I was trying to do my best But then when I left and I could reflect and look back That job was partly Me but not 100% me So I love to inspire people. I love to educate people. I love to enlighten people. I love that part of it But there was parts of the job that didn't fit me and I was still stubbornly pushing forward And it was it was starting to self-destruct. I was getting burnt out Well, and I I think I could say easily I've tried to burn myself a few times and like You know, I can remember when I was doing like renovation jobs and stuff and you know painting crack-filling wallpaper and cleaning like god I did everything and I I didn't mind because that was what I did but Then I would do it for everybody like in my family or my friends and I wanted I so wanted to help and I felt I felt so grateful that I knew how to do these things that I wanted to help people But I burnt myself out many many times and my body paid the price And I can't lie and say I'm still not learning this lesson But we do it in different ways so it sneaks up on us. It has a different face. It wears a different mask

25:30 You know like in the last four years renovate in our house You know, I get to this place where I go. Oh god here. I go again. What am I? What am I doing? But it's I have so much love for creativity And I have so much curiosity for life and I love that about myself, but you know, I'm I'm also somebody who I I I often get slapped by the universe. It's like, okay pivot Pivot So I'm gonna tell you that a big lesson for me was feeling Worthy. Yeah, and Because I went through this whole phase even uh beginning as a medium and Saying to the universe, but am I a medium like should I be doing this?

26:16 Everybody else seems so much better at this than me You know, I didn't have a lot of examples at the time But I was listening to other medium stories and I was thinking This that never happened to me. I don't I don't think I don't maybe I'm not a medium You know So I went through this phase in the beginning of like really questioning the universe and really not feeling like I measured up And then I had this You know, it probably happened over time. It's not like, you know an epiphany that you just have but many a series of epiphanies about my My own path and my own belonging like so how I belong In the universe and how every single soul Has a unique energy signature that they bring to this earth And every single soul is needed and wanted and part of the plan And every every soul is like that that cog, you know that gear in the wheel that keeps everything moving And so we are all important We all have value. We are all worthy And god or the universe is not asking you To suffer To do the to do things over and over again that you don't want to do to get some kind of result There's no universe no god no consciousness that is asking you to do that

27:35 In fact, it's much better If you express yourself in a more expansive way if you do what you want If you do what you feel is right for you Then your energy is more expansive your frequency is higher and that's what the universe wants So there's a lot of people that are You know, sometimes we have to do something we don't want to do until we can do what we want to do And that's okay Because you have a plan and you're moving forward and the energy of that is much more positive Then just staying in place like you know and kind of not feeling good about things So this these the series of epiphanies I'll say is knowing that I am I am part of the collective and we are all connected And that's something that I do has a ripple effect that goes outwards and it will reach other people I've had the weirdest things like somebody booked a reading last year And she said She said I was on a train in Chicago and just for reference I live in helifax, no, scotia. Okay, so little little little helifax Probably have a population of maybe 800 000 people and we're not big, you know And this lady booked a reading and she said I live in new york, but I was in chicago

28:56 And somebody gave me your name on the train, which is like mind-blowing right like how cool is that and so she booked a reading And it was her her sister in spirit that needed to talk to her And her sister and then her father actually after that came through And it was something that needed to happen so much that her sister in spirit. I feel like Inspired this person on the train that random person that she just met that she was just talking to about random things And this person gave her my name. Well, look at how you got on the next level. So if if I could say I think mark had something to do with that your co-host that passed away because how did that even happen? And even alex said like and honestly, I don't even know I mean to talk to alex frary for me was like huge. I was like, whoo, like this is awesome Um, but I didn't I didn't understand how it happened and honestly neither did he He was just sort of like I just felt the need I had to have you on the show So that that was just out of the blue the universe working for me But there's so many things that I could have done that would have blocked that if I wasn't open and flexible and willing So we have this belief Some people have a belief that they are like not important a little nobody

30:12 You know that they can't achieve or they can't do great things and every single one of us is here To do great things how you measure the great things is up to you But we are all here to do great things. I even like giving myself a reality check you know, I've always been this person even when I was young that you know, you'd see superstars and And sports athletes that were like the best in their field and singers and all that But I don't look at anybody any different than even a homeless person on the corner Can you imagine? Choosing that life You know, can you imagine and I never wanted to be a superstar in the way of all this fame and fortune and the pressure and And your your life being like exploited in front of everybody like for me that was never something I ever wanted I wanted to do work That fed my heart that fed my soul something that Had a bigger purpose for me and nothing no judgment there That was my thing because of who I am and how I see the world But I equally look at people Um, and I look at homeless and I think you know, we can judge And and it's that's your business to judge But I never wanted to be connected to that kind of uh energy because you don't know what got them there

They listen, we're all very close to having some kind of crisis or anything All of us are and it can happen to anybody I say that but I know that we're all on a path of sort of, you know, some destiny There is destiny involved and the the souls that choose harder lives They are the stronger souls. They are the more evolved souls. They are the ones that can navigate that And that's partially why they chose it, but we look at it backwards. We look at it the way like somebody um on the street Suffering and we think well, they did something wrong, you know, or they didn't they didn't do something We're supposed to do and really their soul is strong enough to navigate that challenge Whereas most of us are not But yeah, we we have Kim and I have worked ourselves through a lot of like these limiting beliefs And Kim, I would say kind of started out with not as many as me But we both now have the belief that there is there is a belief that there's a limited amount of money Um, and that belief has you have to squash that one Because there is enough money in the world for every person to be comfortable

32:46 It's just that we have we have a system right now where we have people that are hoarding money, you know, but There literally is enough money for everyone, especially in this current system this current financial system, which You know, I know it's going to change. I know we're going to see big changes this year but It if you think about it money is just numbers on a computer Right Like it like it's not it doesn't even have like a we don't have like that physical Money is much anymore. So it's like, you know, it's just it's just numbers. It's like Invisible it's like, you know, not tangible. So why can't we make money? Why can't we why isn't the why isn't money just like Something that is expansive and comes to everybody Now part of that is limiting beliefs part of it is your path But I will say for us that when I got over the idea when I look at Money is just the exchange. So when somebody books are reading or a treatment with Kim or reading with me They book and they want our energy So if somebody wants my energy, I need energy in return I can't just keep giving my energy away. I will fade away. So I love it when I have clients that say

34:05 Can you just follow me around because when I come I feel amazing and I feel amazing for so long Or my pain's gone for five days or a week and whatever And I just I love that I've had people say to me too. Like can you just come to my host for like three days? Just like reset me. Yeah Follow me around too. But um, but yeah, this idea that we should Or I guess I it's not an idea I have anymore But the idea that spiritual people should give of themselves and give and give and give and not get anything in return That's not okay because you will deplete yourself and you see it in you see it in people that Have been giving and giving giving it wears them out over time because it's their energy's gone So money is currency currency is energy. That's the exchange You do need to charge for your for your energy. You can't not and I mean sometimes I can do with some people I can do like a trade an equal trade or something and we we Sometimes it doesn't work out very often but sometimes you can But really it's very clear cut I'm somebody is coming to me because they want my energy But I can't I can't just give it away. It's got to be reciprocal. Absolutely. Yeah

35:22 And I I think that's just respecting the self too, you know, like you have this respect for yourself that You know, we all deserve to live the life we want to live and you know, each one of us wants different things So what one person will spend money on the other person wouldn't would never spend money on that So and that's that's just here and are there So I think the thing for me is that I just wish more people would see that we are all equal And you can look at somebody and say well, obviously I'm not equal to them But you know, that's just your perception of that it's your because for somebody else They could be looking at you like you're the you know, the next big thing So I think in life when you're doing the thing that feeds you That's the thing you got to pay attention to no matter how hard it is If it's feeding you that energy is like priceless I remember when I first started the garden and all I could do was like herbs And you know, I remember running they would every time we cooked me and Laura be running They to the garden snipping and bringing them in and we just felt like it was the It was like the coolest thing because we could make our food takes better from these herbs and spirit told me because I wanted Obviously I do everything big I don't know how to do things small. So anyway, you know, I started going crazy

36:42 Wanting to grow vegetables and and plants that were medicinal and and my own tea and oh my god I'm just crazy. So, you know, I started to do all these things But what spirit said to me was they brought me back to center and said listen If all you did was the herbs The energy that comes from doing something that you put all that love into And you enjoy it so much and you're like making such a big deal of it is all you need Yeah, so so apply that to apply that to the spiritual business or being an entrepreneur and seeing that if you put in energy of like Like pushing trying trying really hard and like like stressing yourself out and not sleeping at night And I gotta get this done if you put that energy into it, then what are you gonna get out?

37:34 You are going to receive that energy back from the universe So it's just going to compound it and expand it and make that problem worse So what we want is flow and a lot of times this is something that I try to teach my mentees is that You need to stay in something that flows for you that feels right for you and that's business will keep flowing to you But you can't push so hard that you're creating that energy of resistance that comes back to you from the universe You'll have resistant clients Absolutely, and I love that sometimes when you're in a place where You know you need to expand because right now I'm in a place where I'm having some things happen And I know on a spiritual level. I know what's happening the universe is trying to push me Out of being the carpenter of building our home because you know, it's it's pretty much 98 finished But they're saying okay, you had this time you got to do this and I know it was important to you But the world needs you more and it's time to start sharing more of your story of your life so that you can help people in a bigger expansion like so more group workshops and speaking events and We're starting to do retreats again because women and people we need each other

38:56 We need strength in numbers and the world is in a place right now Where we need we need help more than ever before and not that it's in the dismal part It's in the rebuilding part. I believe that there is so much good and I believe there's a new world coming But we all have to step into it and we can't be afraid to go into the out there stuff If that's the easiest way I can say it because it doesn't matter if it's Reiki or you know being a medium or Whatever it's it's about doing what makes your heart sing right right and that's the thing the the universe the universal collective the spirit world your guides your loved ones in spirit They don't want you to do anything But do the things that make you happy and by doing the things that make you happy everything can fall into place because that energy is like Crazy high vibrational compared to slogging it away, you know at a job that you don't like No, I can't even imagine like I remember the days when I would wake up in the morning and feel like Drained before I left the house for work and it wasn't that I think I've always loved what I've done But you know, it didn't all pay the same as what it pays now

40:14 I'll say because the energy is I'll say A higher vibration than it used to be because I don't have that same worry My worries are not what they used to be right right No more than the energy that I get from Looking at life the way I now do and I always have looked at life this way But I'm more entrenched in it because it's a part of my every day every morning afternoon and evening You know, we have this beautiful way of being that I didn't have um I guess I didn't feel like I had the choice to be that in my other life Yeah, so I'll say so what I have like kind of put together here is just to First of all to let you know that there's an idea of competition There's an idea of limited amount of funds and money out there in the world You know people will Value you and come to you and spend what they need to spend To have help from you. So that's just it and the people that don't they're not on that track They're doing something different. It's okay In the idea of competition It's there's no real competition because each person Offers their own energy vibration, which we said earlier is unique

41:30 It's your unique energy signature in the world And some people are going to relate to that energy and some people aren't So there's people out there like in my case lots of mediums tons of mediums out there But not everybody is going to connect to their energy So some people are going to connect to mine Some people are going to connect to somebody else's and that's okay The the whole idea is just That's okay It's like Kim lots of practitioners out there that can you know naturopathic therapists like a coach There's lots of coaches. There's lots of naturopathic therapists But Kim offers something special because it comes straight from her from her energy and her vibration that she's created this Treatment or treatments that help people in a certain way So those people that are drawn to her are going to be drawn to her And you and I do a lot of the same things that we just do it differently because You know, I know how I read people as well, but it's not what I do for work It's part of how I do my work And I'm I do coaching we're we become counselors to people but but in a way that we're supporting Not telling them what to do, you know, but there's there's people that You know gravitate towards you. There's people that gravitate towards me. I send people her way

42:48 She sends people my way because it's about It's about who Like connects with your energy and your way of doing your work And there's no limit right to the amount of people that will be connected to you Right, you know, think about 8 billion people on this planet. You know, I think we're going to be okay Never do I worry I have never Worried about Competition in that way because I believe we're uniquely who we are and just Just as people, you know, want to gravitate towards You know, whoever they are they'll gravitate towards me or gravitate towards you So I've never had that block in that way. Yeah, it's not really that's the idea Of competition is an illusion. So just remember that as we go forward So a couple things I want to just kind of leave everybody with is this idea of Building a contract with the universe so you can build a contract if you're thinking about Beginning in and moving into spiritual entrepreneurship You can actually write up a contract with the universe that you can use for manifesting to We've done this multiple times. We have done this so many times So when we want our business in this case now we want things to grow in certain directions So we'll write a letter to the universe and basically say this

44:06 These are the things that I would like to do if they're in my highest good And if they move along with my divine timing And these are this is the action I'm going to take And this is the result I want and this is the deadline, you know, so make sure you give The universe enough information Yeah, it should be detailed but not detailed to the point where you are rigid about the details You can be as detailed as you want, but you have to trust that the universe knows better Like knows what's best for you. So yeah, the contract with the universe is really nice and then being flexible Being open and realizing that you will not get all the information that you need at once But you will get breadcrumbs and so you will get these little like pieces of information that you can follow And I call this The moving forward with the breadcrumbs. I call this inspired action Because we have an inspiration and then we have to take in action Well, I love the breadcrumbs because to me what pops in my head when you say that is You know, if you have one piece of bread, what are you going to do?

45:12 Most likely eat it right away if you have bread comes It's going to it's going to it's going to keep you longer because one leads to the next to the next And it's never ending crumbs right and the universe knows that we humans we are We can be glutton's, you know, so if they give it to us all at once, we're just going to consume it and it's gone Yeah, um, but no the idea with the breadcrumbs too is just like that. You don't need all the information. It's part of the trust It's part of the it's part of the alignment with the universe and co-creating with the universe because you co-create with all the people around you And you co-create with the universe So if you are a spiritual entrepreneur and you are feeling like all of a sudden your friend group has changed your family's abandoned you You feel like you're doing things alone Yay It's good and I'll tell you why that's good Because that's real It's good because it means that you will co-create with the universe you and the universe alone And you won't have anybody holding you back And a lot of times when people leave you like that Some people do come back in after they've had their own growth and learning and they do kind of come back to you And some people don't but the thing is when they leave it's in your best interest because that's a weight of maybe a belief system or a thinking or something and so

46:31 You will accelerate extremely fast on your own But you will not accelerate that fast if you have to deal with a group mentality So sometimes when the group disappears, it's actually a good sign. It's kind of lonely But it's actually a very good sign So talking about the All of this is important, but I just wanted to circle back to passion Because that is the fuel That's going to lead you through this and to trust and know You are an infinite being You are infinitely wise Your higher self holds all the information you need And so can you trust that you prepared yourself for this life?

47:18 That you actually had a past many past lives to prepare yourself for this life and that you prepared a life plan a blueprint That would serve you Well, and I like to say that learning is never ending and I think you know again I'm going to use Laura and I we've been This has been our life every day This work is something that feeds us every day and we have challenges all the time I mean even this month coming to New Brunswick to work We didn't know where we're going to stay because I haven't been able to stay at my daughters They have cats and and I'm allergic to fragrances and it and as sensitive as I am even Somebody who uses tide or something it affects me terribly and causes me to not feel well And then my son's mother-in-law is she lives with them. So when she's working we can use their their extra room But when she's there, it's her room. So, you know, we this trip we're always We're always just in a place where we have to trust That something is going to show up and I'm not kidding We have to trust in a way that we could do a whole podcast For the next six months on that because you know and a friend of ours said hey Don't worry. You can come here and she doesn't have her kids are all grown up and moved out

48:35 There's no animals and it's a nice calm place to be And I'm just so grateful for the synchronicities that have happened to us to just get us from step one It's a bread crumb. Yeah, it literally is a bread crumb.
