The Healing Potential of Reiki

0:10 Hello, I'm Kimberley and I'm Laura and today we're talking about the healing potential of Reiki this is a very interesting topic for me because When I was in probably one of the worst places in my life and Asking for help. This is what came through for me. So I I literally Decided because I've been having a lot of health issues. I decided that it was time to Try something that would settle me and I Found out about Reiki and then I remember the night before I even went to have my first level. I had this profound meditation and It what seemed like past life stories coming through about being connected to My native roots, which I really didn't have a lot of information about at the time But I remember having this vision the night before and I did this whole ritual just like intuitively and I had a vision of myself as a native child and We were sitting around the fire and what appeared to be an elder a grandfather

1:29 Was standing there with the sky behind them and he came through and one by one there was like an animal in the sky and he would tell me and What each one meant and you have to understand like for me. This was like pretty profound I really didn't know much about my background and connection to my native side But every time these native dreams would come through and they'd be guiding me telling me You know how what this meant and what that meant and but I just thought it was so profound And then I did this thing where I I took a shower and I was cleansing every little crevice You know, I thought was kind of funny. Yeah, so you so the the Reiki journey for you Like kind of started with and like an energy healing that came through When you were Struggling like when you were struggling with your back and pain and things like that And I think we all can relate to that when we get to like the end of the road You know and we don't have anywhere else to go and we're just kind of you know Asking for help or praying for help and last resort last resort

2:45 But when I actually does come That I think that's the first like sign the first thing I can see About somebody's healing journey like when they're able to trust and they're able to actually understand like this is coming for me This is going to help me and then once you like kind of cross that barrier I like then you can allow in all the other energies that are there to help you And so it's almost like listening to you and hearing the story of how this all began. I can see how you Kind of had that like that rock bottom moment. Yeah, you know that most of us get to that place and then this Feeling like you like you're opening a door like you're opening a door to this part of your life It's like a new part to your life a new place to go a new pathway And then opening it May meant that all those guides and support that you had could come through like that And they were coming through like like in such a hurry I thought You know the one funny thing about me is I never questioned spirit never not once and it's funny because this This all happened because when I was at my lowest

4:02 I was literally in the fetal position in my bed Praying and going, you know And back then I was more, you know talking to God now. I use universal consciousness It's more widespread when I explain things, but I literally always loved Jesus always I love the story of Jesus. I didn't believe the way most people did about About him, but I always believed in the power of belief and healing and when I was at my lowest I was saying I know I'm not that far off, but I need a sign and Literally, it just the easiest way to explain it is it looked like You stenciled Jesus right in the air in front of me and Literally you could see his cheeks puff out and he took a breath and I know how this sounds But it was so profound for me and he blew like it almost looked like he blew new breath into me the breath of life Right and it blew my mind. I was like, wow, this is so incredible and I didn't care what people thought I've always been very open about how I communicate about things I believe in because I believe we all choose to believe the way that works for us So it's always something that worked for me

5:18 But you know going back to the night before my Reiki Attunement and first level I so I did this whole ritual where I was washing and scrubbing my nails and in between my fingers And then I was thinking to myself, what are what am I doing? And it was this real ritual that I intuitively was picking up on and then I oiled myself and Again oiled every like my hands in between And I just thought well, I don't know but I'm just gonna go with it, which I did with everything I believed in But I had a profound Connection to Reiki and not everybody is as open not everybody would have the same Impact but when I had my first level and I remember one of my friends came with me She took her first level. I think because of me But we were standing in a circle doing like a meditation left hand up right hand down kind of connection And it was like I could feel the energy moving around the room And I thought oh something's happening And all of a sudden I started to cry And again, I want to emphasize this does not happen to everybody, but I was ready for this big shift

6:33 It was okay to some people things are ugly and hard and you know, they they're like no way I don't want to do that but for me, I was just open and honest and totally believed in what was happening and I started to cry like I'm telling you I had never cried in my life and you know I was brought up in a in a home where we were taught to be tough. We were taught not to cry I mean you didn't cry unless you really Had something to cry about But it was this it was this beautiful release now. It was ugly But that's the thing ugly the ugly cry is really important Because it is like that true full release You know that all the energy channels are open and everything's going, you know full blast. Yeah, but it for me It was again. I just I couldn't help it. I asked for help. I asked for help from the universe So however, it showed up. I was so willing to accept it So I literally snot cried So bad and you're standing up in a prayer meditation form like around the circle I think there was 16 of us and I can remember like my my Ricky master at the time walked right over and and literally took

7:49 It's and wiped my nose because I was in a trance literally in a trance. Just cry cry Ugly old crying and I think it shocked some of the people in the room And I think one thing about me is I've always allowed space With people and when I teach Ricky and my students, I've always allowed space for whatever Needs to happen to happen. Mm-hmm. And that's a really big deal Don't you know? Well, I think you have to hold space because you don't know It's sort of like if you've ever taken a yoga class and the yoga instructor says to people like the first class They say, you know, when people align their energy and they let go of blockages Sometimes they cry. Sometimes they're angry. Sometimes they're, you know, really happy. Sometimes they laugh, you know, like Things happen when you line everything up and you release all those, you know Walls that you've been holding up for so long. And so in Reiki, it's the same You know, you actually are opening up your channel to receive the attunement and so people are they don't know They don't know their systems preparing for it But it is and it's important that you hold space for what May come from that and everything is

9:06 Acceptable like it's it's all okay in that space. Mm-hmm. And it was just a really beautiful Um experience for me and here's how profound things can be if you're open to them I felt like somebody shot me in the solar plexus. I literally felt like I like it knocked the The wind right out of me and I had to go outside and take a break and my friend came with me and helped me through it and The thing that happened was I also had a vision And it was very quick, but it showed me my life and at the time my connection with my My husband I was married to my husband back then and I could see this big distance between us And I didn't really understand it in a moment, but it looked like we were really far away from each other so I just kind of took that with a grain of salt and Then After a little bit. I realized it was I just felt like I had this big release and it felt like I had Moved a bunch of energy out of my body. So it freed up space for growth, right?

10:21 Yeah, like that that blank space for the universe to work. Yeah. Yeah. So again, I was always trusting I I don't know if I've ever not believed I've done rakey to myself every day since that day and that was February the 16th 2000 and uh 2006 good memory. Yeah And it was life altering for me And I think for each individual You know, sometimes we talk about our stories and what happened to us and I want people to understand that just because for me it meant that my life was changing in a Massive way and it did mean that later on in life, you know, there was a separation Um, and then ending to my marriage I I also trust everything I came here to to do and to experience. So I know that there's no mistakes There's nothing I have to regret. I don't regret choosing the parents I chose I don't regret any of the life Choices I've made in this life. I absolutely 100 believe that You know, everything is happening as it's meant to we might not be ready for it We might not like it, but it is absolutely What is meant for us in those moments? So

11:39 You've had this like, um, kind of like spiritual healing awakening And then you're in rakey. So can you just explain like for anybody that doesn't understand what rakey is? So I'll explain it my way because to me when I took my first level rakey It's the easiest thing because I can see it in my head. It's like mother earth Was embodying a body like a like a female body And she took my hand and literally put it on the earth and it was like she said, can you hear that? Can you feel that? You're connected to everything that is And I thought Oh my gosh Like this is so cool So never ever have I been like freaked out or scared or and even when I first you know when this all happened because rakey is universal consciousness It's what jesus did laying on of hands and just like jesus didn't worry about the rock chuckers neither do I There's always people that are going to go against your beliefs And everyone has a different belief system and that's okay But for me it was like wow, I'm connected to everything that is So everything that's possible is possible for each individual so for each one of us

12:57 And I remember I you got to think I was in the worst place of my life I was in so much pain. There was times where I couldn't drive. I had to pull over and and my son This is not the good thing to say on there But he literally didn't even have his license yet and I had to get him to drive sometimes because my legs would go on me because of my I had four herniated discs in my lower back and four in my neck And uh, my therapy was intense. I was in the hospital every five days having uh, physiotherapy and You know what what helped me heal was the belief I had the power of the belief that I had for what this was doing to me And for me So not only did I have this Ability now because I felt it immediately after the attunement. I felt it before the attunement It was already happening the day before it it happened And and people ask me how that can be but I believe and I'm sure you would agree with me Whether somebody's coming for a treatment Or they're they're calling Laura for a reading the minute you decide that you want your life to change It already starts happening. The the energy is already moving It's already being presented itself. So yeah, you're it's it's funny how it happens because people will say to me

14:15 Like before they are supposed to meet with me They'll say well, I don't know what's going on But this happened this happened this happened or I couldn't sleep Or you know, I had this big problem So I booked a session with you But then by the time the session came everything started to kind of fall into place And you know, it was like the awareness like they know they still have to talk to me But things started to get better the minute that they booked which I which is so funny um, but yeah, like the the Our energy field Responds to that positive upswing. So it's like you somebody's coming to see you for Reiki And they really need your help But the changes start to happen before they even see you Same thing with taking Reiki if if that's something that you were you're interested in and you want to take it um, or you want to learn it Before Reiki you start to notice these subtle changes like they're calm. They're not, you know, it's not crazy It's not earth shattering, but it's like these little subtle changes like oh today I feel like I can breathe easier. You know, or I feel like I'm calmer I'm calmer or I understand something on a deeper level that I didn't understand before Or maybe you have more compassion for people all the above Yeah, because Reiki is just universal love. It's just love from the universe

15:34 And that love is such a high vibration that it it shows your system what it could be Like it kind of knocks all the other stuff right out. Yeah, and it gives us like example of what you can be And then my whole thing with um, like because this is how I felt with readings too That if you present the energy to somebody the possibility of where they could be That their system will remember and still work to get back there We still try to get back to that, you know that higher vibration And so when we you know, we can talk about uh, dr. Usui, you know, dr. Usui You know received all the symbols and what did he go to the mountain for 40 days? 40 days and received all the information and then learned that he had to you know, teach other people and Reiki used to be like really exclusive, you know, like you could you had cost $10,000 for The lady that I first talked to and I actually just did a little class workshop with her But she had to go there and take it in the states and it cost $10,000 to take her Reiki And then she had to pay to go there and to come back and Because it wasn't as available as it is today and well and even dr. Usui had to go

16:52 You had to go to the sanctuary had to go to the temple and learn from dr. Usui And you had to like dedicate your whole life as if you were a monk and you know And then when it was brought to the us it kind of it shifted because william lee rand shifted it So it's and we had to adapt to that and then it was offered to more people, right? So the the funny thing is the I feel like dr. Usui was like Just like any of us who like he just decided he became a conduit and he Opened up his channel to receive that message from the universe that this is what his life was about to bring this forward And I feel like anybody anybody can be in that position I'm so glad you said that because this is one of the things I find in life is that people put too much energy into things So it's like how dare you Act like you can do something jesus did and my first intuition is well He said we can do what he's done in greater things How do we only believe the pieces that we want to believe in?

17:53 But not all of it, right? Right. So and I'm obviously I'm not a believer in the bible anymore That's not my thing. It was when I was younger But the more you study and the wider you search for information the more information you're going to get But the thing about Reiki is that I have never stopped doing it to myself I the minute I wake up if I have an ache or pain or sometimes even If I feel stressed or a little bit of anxiety and I don't know where it's coming from because I'm an empath I feel many things But it's my first it's my first thought. It's my go-to When you first take your first level, you know, you're supposed to do it to yourself To get used to it to start feeling it, you know to understand it And I I have to say that it is the thing in my life That has made the biggest difference and when I first took it It the things that started happening to me like you were saying earlier I felt calmer I felt deeper love Deeper connection more grounded and the people around me noticed And I was more open. I've always been a big hugger. I love hugging people. I love My heart center touching, you know, my clients or whoever I'm coming in contact with it's always been a big thing for me

19:10 But I was hugging more and people were noticing that I was better And you got to think right before that I was really in pain for quite sometimes It was it was debilitating for me and I'm a very strong woman I'm a very mindful strong woman as well as physical. I have I have quite the constitution I'm stubborn as hell And after that first level and that big cry that little bone that's um, I never can remember the name At the bottom of your sternum or yeah that little bone That bone was broken in half. I'm not I'm not lying like this is real stuff. You can't make it up It literally blew so when we don't believe that there's an actual energy and we're like we really are an energetic body Like we need to think again because this was a cry This was a cry for help from the universe and the universe Heard me and gave me this incredible gift of love From divine of goosebumps From divine consciousness and the thing that is so important is that this is available to every Human being You know, Jesus didn't walk around saying no, not you. Yes, you know, you know, forget it. I don't like the way you look

20:27 No, you don't talk, right? That that wasn't it. It was available to everyone You know, and even if you went and looked at buddha like it doesn't matter what you're studying When the base of it is love And that we are all connected to the same thing if you want to keep extending that that's where abundance comes from The more you believe the more you trust the more is available to you But if you don't believe you deserve it if you don't believe and I have never Believe that I didn't believe I have never believed that I'm not connected to everything that is I just don't and Go ahead. No, I was just gonna say like the Reiki is interesting to me There's a lot of healing modalities out there And you can you know pick anyone that feels right to you because it's all in the same It's all the same thing we all want people to increase their vibration elevate their consciousness, you know But really what we're what science science is slow and it's slow in Like looking at the energy of people consciousness. How do we measure it? You know, but the light body So Reiki treats the light body The light body is your energy that you know, it runs the entire system

21:43 That's your spirit your soul your consciousness. That's what lives on after the physical body is gone And the light body I always I used to have this theory that that we had Like a spiritual dna like a map for our physical life and our physical body And the spiritual or the the energy DNA kind of directs the physical dna and it overlays right on top of it. It's just all in light It's just uh energy frequency light Excuse me And Reiki addresses that but addresses the light body From a place where we didn't even know what the light body was. We didn't really understand it We knew that everybody had energy like at that time. That's where dr. Usui's like, okay Like fix the energy fix the body kind of thing Um And we knew that but now like science is starting to catch up and saying oh, yeah We do have you know, our bodies actually we emit light like and they can measure it And we emit light this light before we die and and all this But the light body is the director of everything and so if you can correct what's you know Having difficulty within the light body you can correct the physical body Correct what's going on

23:00 Physically and there are so many cool stories if you are looking like, you know There are people that are studying this that's just not, you know, um as widespread but There's really cool stories about how people would Like understand like they would know like something is about to happen because if something would happen to their physical body And then this thing would play out later and it'd be like, oh, how did my physical body know? What's because your light body knew Direct to the physical body to give you the signal So if you're getting signals in your physical body that you're having a hard time with something like you You know, maybe you're not feeling well something's you know sparking in your health You need to listen to that but listen to it in a way that directs you back to The emotional trigger or the mental spiritual trigger What is the thing that is because the physical body is like the last line It's like the last result the last thing that happens like, you know, if you're sick in your physical body Then there's been a whole bunch of other stuff energetically that's happened to you And maybe you have wounds that you have to look at and heal And we all do because like myself you don't know how much is from this life and past lives and all these things so For me, I just I just kept getting better and better and it was

24:16 There was a peace. I've always been positive. I've always been optimistic. It's always been my nature, you know Lemons lemonade like this is my this is everything I am right and it doesn't mean that I've never been depressed It doesn't mean I've never known what depression felt like or anxiety or Hurt or dysfunction mental illness like I have loads of experience in all of the above But when I need to pull myself back Reiki is my go-to and again, like Laura said, there's lots of modalities out there But they're all they all stem from Universal consciousness, which is universal love and the thing I it's funny, you know I've been busy and you know when Laura and I first got together there was a it was like our whole life It was a big tsunami and you know tsunamis are Are are big they knock things out they they cause disaster And then everything has to be cleaned up, but then everything has to be rebuilt So it takes time And I'm sitting in a position now where I'm looking at how can I help the universe?

25:22 Be better. How can I raise consciousness? And it my wife's been telling me for a few years now You got to go back to teaching Reiki. You got to go back to teaching Reiki. You love it and it you're so good at it And I thought oh my gosh What's wrong with me? Where what was wrong? I wasn't paying attention. So again even us You know, Laura and I've been into this work for 20 years I have been working full time making a living for 20 years We're not talking about people that don't believe in what they're doing. We're talking We absolutely believe but when I first started my practice I was only doing Reiki. I was seeing people in spirit beside me. They were talking to me I was seeing people's past lives. I mean a whole new world opened up for me And it was absolutely incredible. I have never had the surgery that supposedly I was supposed to have On my neck and that oh the fear-based You know, you're you got to have this surgery to your neck and if you don't have it, you know Your life as you know, it is over and and even the surgery they couldn't they couldn't Confirm that I wouldn't have any side effects or you know, how how it would End up being and I was like you're gonna fuse for my disc. I'm not gonna have mobility

26:40 No, you wouldn't right for this. No, and I was thinking I can't help it I have always since I was a little kid believed in the power of miracles and I've seen them I've seen miracles. They've showed up in my life I've seen them with different people. I had not who had an aneurysm like I I have experience Of multiple miracles in my life. Yeah, but I've also been a part of them and how lucky am I That true this gift of Reiki I've also been able to see miracles in the people that I have worked on There's other podcasts that we've done that I've talked a little bit, but you know, I I can remember one of my favorite Stories is I worked on this lady. She was 88 And she had dementia And back then it was when you know, everything happened and I couldn't work anymore in the field I was in because I was doing renovation. So painting and wallpapering You know, I even sanded floors and stained them and like decks and oh my gosh too much physical Just a lot of physical work and that's what happened to me, you know But my point there goes my ADHD you're talking about the lady you looked after So I got a job to take care of the Seldar Lee lady a few days a week

27:57 And it meant that I had to like bath her and stuff and I already knew her I already spent every Friday at lunch with her because I'd clean her Her granny suite because I worked for her daughter and I'm telling you I did everything I did house cleaning I did I did taking care of people I even was a nanny for a while for a couple kids because I did whatever I had to do to get through that time I was in So I worked on this lady. So I'm going to fast forward to this day. So Every day she did Sudoku. She was 88. She was just absolutely the sweetest thing. I loved her And uh, so she was sitting at the dining room table And she put her head down in her hands, which she often did she take a little break And I had just done an auric perception course And uh, perceiving the aura so I looked at her and I was just sitting in my chair studying And I looked at her and I could see the cone on top of her head But it was tilted like it was sideways like it fell over. That's the easiest way to describe it And then everything's happening very quickly. You gotta understand you're looking it's like a split second You see energy you're like, oh wow, you know And uh, then within a few seconds I could see Gabriel archangel Gabriel and it was just the head right over her head perfectly And it was like almost like an indigo blue, you know, and I could see every

29:17 Detail of their hair their eyes were closed their energy was very angelic And again, this is all happening and at the same time my mind's trying to go what's going on Like what's happening right now, but never did it freak me out. I was like, this is so cool. Oh my gosh Look at that so many so many representations of energy Right like and we see it in ways that make sense to us So you just you just took the auric perception course So spirits like I'm gonna give her something that she knows, you know, she just studied this So I'm gonna show her this energy in this way and it's really cool when we when we're tuning into those things And that's a thing like I I wonder about Like Reiki obviously like worked for you like you had, you know, you had that rock bottom moment You had the opening in trust you, you know stayed open to the universe showing you like you can take Reiki You stayed open again You had like the ceremonial like cleansing before you took Reiki the emotional release during Reiki Like all those things but then like and you see how it works for you You've avoided major surgeries in your life But you know, there are some people that they don't They don't agree like they don't think it works And what like in your opinion and I have mine

30:35 What do you think happens like what goes wrong when Reiki doesn't work? I honestly believe that when it doesn't work, it's because the person Doesn't believe they've had some form of experience in their life That has taught them that they're not good enough That they're not connected that they don't deserve that You know because let's be honest. It's it's for everyone and I taught kids Reiki I have a course for kids and You want to talk about something neat you watch little kids get attuned and they'll go Oh, it feels like worms crawling through my head and like because it's the energy opening like tickling right? It's tickling them. So I've had so many incredible experiences But I I'd like to finish that story first just because we we get off track sometimes But so I see this I see Gabriel above her head and then I hear the message We're ready to take her when she's ready and I was like Hyperventilating went outside couldn't breathe. It was like oh dear god because this lady had become Kind of not a replacement but a continuance my grandmother passed away a few years before and It was Like I love this woman and I love spending time with her just like I love spending time with my grandmother

31:53 So her and I had this really neat connection and I loved her and I wasn't ready to let her go So, you know selfish me. I was like, uh, but wait a second. I'm not ready to let her go I'm not related to her, but I just love her So anyway, I called a friend my friend verified, you know, you just took Reiki or open You know, that's such an incredible sign for you like wow lucky you right And uh, that was one thing about me. These things happened to me so often in the beginning that I just felt so blessed from the universe. So, you know, that happened and the next day I was going to take her to the bathtub because every, uh, you know, every time I was there I would give her a bath, which was another thing that was great to learn how to be vulnerable with somebody and and to to get to that level of You know, it's an intimate thing to bath somebody So I go into the room with her And for some reason I took the phone with me, you know, cordless And I had her in the tub and I was doing, you know, my regular duties And, uh, she stopped breathing in the tub And I was like, oh my gosh, right? So again, pretty hard to hold somebody and called at the same time So but I did I held her I called her daughter who was in the house next door

33:11 And her daughter came over and I had pulled her out of the tub And she had taken that last breath like a few times her daughter even came in and seen it And the last minute because her Her daughter's husband was home and in seven years of working for them. He was never home All right, so that was another ironic thing for me is that supports always there when it's needed So just to kind of make the story a little quicker the ambulance were coming in the driveway and at that moment I thought, you know, I Wanted to kind of cover her up because she was of course naked So I picked her up and I took her over to the bed and when I put her down Um, it was like it resuscitated her like it the air came out of her body when she you know, because I'm not I'm not that strong I mean it was hard to lift somebody and put them in bed But it it almost worked like she was resuscitated and she came back And I knelt beside her and I intuitively knew I looked at her and I said, I'm really sorry and she said Why are you sorry? I said because I knew you didn't want to be here. You were ready to go And I said I just I just feel I'm sorry and she said, oh don't be sorry. She said you're an angel And I just got so emotional because our routine was when I bathed her

34:28 I would put her in the walker and I'd like I'd start to dress her and I put her powder on and I And then I couldn't I'd walk her I'd move the walker over and I'd Blow dry her hair and I give her a head massage when I did it And then she'd waddle over to her bed and I would rub her feet and her legs and her hands and her arms And I put pawns cream on her face and I'd kiss both sides of her face and then she'd go to sleep Like that was our routine. So you could just imagine I love love love this woman, right? Um, but what a gift and I told her family about what had happened I told them about the vision And she was she lived for about three months after that and her family got to come home from out west And they got to spend time with her and they were very much more in tune with the family here I think the family here thought I was a little craig craig, you know But her daughter and son from out west came and they both wanted me to do a treatment on them And I was in my practicum. So I wasn't taking any money I was just trying to experience what it was like to actually do treatments So they gifted me some money because they said I heard you were taking reflexology And we want to gift this to you for your course and I was like, uh, okay. All right. That sounds okay

35:46 So I did treatments on them both But the beauty of this is that because I wasn't afraid To say what I was feeling and what I picked up on They got to have intimate time with their mom before she passed and I used to laugh because man, she loved chocolate And we would sneak I would sneak her in chocolate not that you had to sneak it But you know, we always had fun with it and she passed away on easter Right and we all laughed about that because you know, she was such a lover of chocolate But you know, again, I know sometimes we pick up on things and it freaks us out or makes us feel un Unbalanced or whatever, but it's always been incredibly Hard for me to believe that these beautiful things can happen to us and we can push them away And that's another thing I think happens with people where they think they're bad. They don't think they're good They don't think they're deserving But it's there for everyone. There's nobody that's excluded, you know, and There's people that can do it that have never been attuned They're so psychic and I you know, I've had that experience with some people I wasn't trained or attuned but in the beginning When clients would come for a reading And I was working with patricia and they

37:06 Like our guides would come forward and say this person can't hear you right now They need a like an aura balance. They need a cleanse. They need whatever So we actually started calling what we were doing angel Reiki because we just felt like the angels were there We knew we knew it was Reiki. We knew it was like energy coming through us to help them Heal and it felt like that's that was a good name. But we were we weren't trained You know, it wasn't like a thing where we were using the symbols or the positions or anything like that We were literally doing whatever our guides told us to do To help balance the person or ground them or prepare them for the reading Because at the time, I mean This was you know, quite a long time ago and people didn't think the same way they do now There's more openness now and people are willing to accept You know more like I guess different types of Healing and help and counseling and and at the time People would come and if they weren't open and ready then it was almost like our Reading might be wasted because they might not actually like be able to process it or hear it and when When Reiki is offered and so you're offered it sort of reminds me of like Divine like healing energy its source consciousness. So it's this perfect

It's like anything Nobody goes and plays a new sport without knowing how to do it You know, you you have a process of practice and I I guess like it's like the practice is good That's if you're becoming a practitioner, but I guess if you're a person receiving Reiki I've heard people say like they'll they feel good in the session But then how quickly we forget right how quickly we forget what humanisms Yeah, and that is kind of an issue in spirituality right now because we have so many people online and influencers and people saying things But they're not actually walking the path They're not actually doing the work And so it's easy for them to be very philosophical about life and you know be observers of life and curious But then they don't actually do the work in their own lives And that is why sometimes we're presented with a perfect opportunity for healing

39:45 For energy to come in but then if you don't make the changes To continuously receive and accept that energy then it can't it can't do anything It can't go anywhere and it can't do the things that it's supposed to do Well, and that's that's true right and the more you believe in something the more it's going to work Right, it's like anything So the thing about it is that for me I've you know, I've done so many treatments. It knows better than you do It was better than any any doctor and so if you're waiting for a bone to be set, you know But Reiki is amazing accepted like everything's healing everything's healing perfectly I think the thought there is that the bones will begin to heal the wrong way or something But that's not trust that's not trusting the process. That's not trusting what's happening You have to you're trusting that universal source energy knows better than you And if you don't trust it from the beginning, how are you ever going to have a healing?

I had a hysterectomy at 28. So right after I had my daughter So I I had some experience with trouble with my You know my female parts We'll say so But you know, I I was afraid to have a little a girl I wanted a girl, but I was afraid so it took six years to conceive my daughter and a surgery um But back then I wasn't where I was where I am now my beliefs weren't the same They were always there, but they weren't as strong as they are now because of my experience But I knew that my fear was holding me back and what is the sacral chakra about?

It's a dysfunctional process of thinking like it's multiple different things that it can be that hold your body in that place where You don't think you are strong enough to be a parent You're afraid of the responsibility Something happened to you as a child and you know, maybe your parents were overly protective or whatever the case May be But it is a real thing energy being stuck in your body. Yeah, where do you think illness comes from?

48:22 You know, so again, I could talk for a week straight about this and I really think the point of this is that we can Offer that higher vibration so people can feel it, you know, even if it's just subconscious And we can shine a light give awareness as to what we see are the blockages But then you as the person receiving all this It's your job then and then to go and be your own healer Because we're not really doing the healing work. We're Showing you the way we're the conduit. We're giving you the tools And we're saying here, this is what this is what could change for you. This is what you need to look at And if you that's the part of the thing that really can annoy me about modern spirituality Is that we want all the shiny things. We want all the sparkly things We want the crystals we want quick fix want the pretty oils, you know, we want to feel better We want all that that band-aid kind of thing just slap the band-aid on it and it's okay And we don't do the real healing and you have to once you have the awareness Your responsibility is to make the changes in your life So once you have the awareness that something isn't right something isn't working

Yeah, but we can't make you do the work You know, we can't make you change those bad behaviors or those bad patterns That's up to you and that's where the real healing happens And that's where rakey can really blossom and grow and work in your life Because it's perfect energy if you just let it in and give it the right environment And and the other thing is rakey We have to remember rakey is love and we are we are taught to give at the cost of us constantly
