Hello, I'm Kim and I'm Laura and today we're talking about sacred soul contracts. Yeah, so it's an interesting topic. One I love, I love talking about things like this because it's about, for me, it's about trusting what you came here to do, who you are within that and what is available to you. And I think this is quite a big topic. Well, I, it's something that is happening in the background of your life, but it affects every part of your life. And I look at this like there's a blueprint for our lives. So I guess I can go back to like when I started this work, I didn't understand all of this.

Like I just, I knew like, I kind of knew like, yeah, you know, people have a purpose, you know, people have a plan for their life, but I didn't know what it was all about. And through a series of my guides teaching me, showing me things, taking me places to show me the processes, I got to learn how a life plan is built, what it is, you know, and why we make these sacred soul contracts with other souls. So I guess it's growing too. It's, it never, to me, it's like, it's not just one thing. Because when I'm sure you would agree with me, when we first started and we were first like graduated and looking at what we're going to do, that was one, that's one component, that's one part, right? In the sense that you're just new.

And then you hit all these, I'll say walls, like I don't know if I ever thought back then that I'd be leaving my husband and being where I am today. But I have trusted everything that's led me to here. So my point is, we don't always know, even though we have lots of moments that we trust where we are, at least I did, you know, and I'm sure you'd agree is that there's so many different parts to it and growth, it's like a constant thing that we're growing within, even though we understand it. Right. That makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. And the thought too, like, I think for, for me, it was really comforting to find out that we did have a plan, like there was an actual plan that had been thought out. But then in learning about the how this is built and what it is, I realized that the life plan wasn't exactly what I thought.

Right. So to think about it, like, it's, it's not a strict a plan in the sense, like, you do this, you get this. Right. Which I think people think it is. Yeah. Right. And, and I think we also, because human thinking is kind of like black and white. So we just think it's one way or it's the other way. And everything that I've learned in spirituality, I've learned that there's no black and white. And there are detours. There's many detours. And even the idea like that there's different timelines and that there's different lives and like what's the concept of time and space. And those are all big topics. But the, the idea that we have this life plan, when I was just learning about this work and learning about what I was doing, I was really interested, always been really interested in like life and death and everything in between. So I'm asking spirit. I'm like, well, you know, I don't understand why I have to be a psychic. Like that's really what it was in the beginning.

What? And I'd be like, man, give me that job. I was like, why do I, why do I have to do this? I had another plan for myself. And I was, no, probably it wouldn't have been. But I was shown that our life plan is sort of like, it sort of looks like a tree. So you're, you know, you think you have sort of everything figured out. The tree trunk is like the beginning. Foundation. Yeah. Foundational stuff like your, your family programming, your learning, all that. Then when you get up into the branches, there's many branches, right? Like there's some main branches that are pretty important. But depending on which branch you choose depends on which way your life is going to go. And how strong the trunk is.

Yeah. How strong is your foundation, right? So what they showed me was that people will kind of go along their life path. And it's for most people, sometimes in their mid 30s, there's some big choices that have to be made and you're changing and things like that. But all of the choices are available to you within that life plan. So imagine the top of a tree. But here's the kicker. Every single choice that you make has a predetermined result. So do we have free will? Yes, we do within limits. Right. So we have this plan, this beautiful, beautiful intricate soul plan. And you think about a tree. So I'm taking this big branch and this is a path I'm going to take. Well, before you know it, you're faced with another fork in the road. There's another choice. And you say, well, I'm going to take this branch now. And then I'm going to take this one and this one and this one till you're out to the very smallest tip of the branch. And that is your expected outcome as far as the spirit world canopy. So think about it. How many expected outcomes have you

Planned for? You've planned for a lot. Plus your plan has had to be integrated with all the people that you know, all the people that are coming into this life. So there's your sacred soul contracts. And we build all of those, right? And we don't know when we're going through them because we think blood family is everything. And I'm not trying to make light of it because it is, it is very important. But sometimes I don't think I've ever realized how important my family was as I do lately, because I've been seeing things from a different perspective. So there was a lot. I talk very freely about my life because I really didn't, I don't have a problem with it. I love my family. I love each and every person in my family. However, I don't get along with everybody. We don't have the same interests or values. And that's okay. I think that bothered me more before. But now I'm really getting to a place where I'm quite okay with it. And I look at the parents that I chose. Wow. Like, I wouldn't have thought 20 years ago, I'd be going, Oh, man, did I ever think I thought this through before I came here and here because, you know, if you look at the conviction of your parents, and they're like, even their stubbornness, because I look at

My mom and my dad in different ways. And wow, my mother was so much like she had so much more like than I think anyone gave her credit for. Yeah. And I think they learned after she was gone how the strength of her light and the vastness of it and how it affected so many people. And sometimes, sometimes somebody has to pass before they realize all that. And that's okay too. But that's it. You have made sacred, these sacred soul contracts with your parents, with your siblings, anybody that comes into your life that has played a major role. And so here you are, you know, with the parents you have, and all of us have challenges within our families. None of us have it, you know, it's not easy, it's not meant to be easy, that the people are placed in your life so that you learn what you came here to learn.

So we have the sacred soul contract with other people. But we also have a soul contract with ourselves because we have things that we have decided that we needed to learn. So all these contracts, all the desired results that are in your divine blueprint, they're all so I've seen a life plan like I was shown the life plan. And it's so detailed. It's the most detailed, like if you can imagine an engineer's drawing, right, you know, for something where there's all the measurements and everything, all the details, it's so specific. And it, it's interesting because it almost pops off the canvas. Like it pops off the paper when you are viewing somebody's life plan in the spirit world. You don't have to read it. It almost is like it, the energy comes from it and you absorb it. Like, you know, you feel it. And so through the feeling, you feel where somebody's going. And so this actually, you know, has happened to me. I've asked Spirit to show me, well, okay, if these life plans are so intricate, how do we plan them?

Like, who oversees this? Like, what, what is this all about? And I was shown, obviously, I asked Spirit a lot of questions. And go figure. And I'm pretty, I'm pretty persistent. So, you know, after a little while of asking, they finally showed me my own contract. And I remember it was a, I'll say it's an experience that happened when I was in dream state or sleeping, but felt like an experience. And I knew I was where I was myself, but I didn't look exactly like this. And there was people around the table. I knew everyone, but it was this large room, everything seemed white. Everybody was wearing white, the table was white, the papers were white, everything was white. But we were discussing, you know, my life plan. And it was at a pivotal point in my life, too, where this happened.

And it almost was like, almost was like, well, we made a change in your life plan, and you have to sign off on this now. So everybody around the table, I recognize some of the people as people in my life, and they were signing my contract, like everybody was signing their signature to their part. And there was people around the table that I wouldn't recognize from this life. But in the vision, I knew that they were my sort of like my guides. So I'm surrounded by a table of people's higher self that were in my life, I guess, and then all these council guides that are like, well, you can't do that cross that off the list, you know, that's too hard. And, and oh, well, this, this is a shift. So everybody has to initial this change. It was like a real contract, a real contract meeting, which I thought was really interesting, because it's not just one soul that's planning your life plan. Like you're not the only one, right? There's a big group, you know, and I really was impressed by, I don't know why I'm so impressed by this big table of people that are all looking at my soul contract. Yeah, except it looked like a bunch of, we look like light, we were light beings. So we didn't look human exactly. And we didn't look alien or anything like that.

It was just everybody was, yeah. But these, I, because I'm so curious and because I'm asking all the time spirit sometimes will take me and show me things. And this was one of the things that they showed me. So I was pretty, I was pretty impressed by this table and this contract and, you know, the seriousness of everything. But in all honesty, I think that is how it works. I think we, we do plan a life plan before we come, we choose the people we need in our life. They choose us too. I think we have a contract with them. So you had a contract with your parents to affect them just as much as they affected you, right? Because the growth goes two ways. Oh, absolutely. And I also think like when I was first with my husband, I thought that was like it. I thought that was lifetime.

And then when I was past all of that and looking back at that, I can really see how that also shifted me. And it, I needed to go through every bit of that so that I could get that experience from what that relationship taught me. And, and I think that's why we kind of, we don't really look at our life the way we should because each and everything that happens to us is just absolutely perfect and so beautiful. Oh, that's nice. Yeah. So beautiful. And I think now sitting in the chair I'm sitting in with the view I have that I can see so clearly the things that I thought were like could never happen or that's not how it went or that, what was that all about that I can I can see it crystal clear. And a lot of things have happened to bring me to this moment. And I know that on a soul level, I know who I am. I know what I came here to do. But I also know, because I've seen multiple past lives with you, I also know that there is a contract that I have like singularly like with myself. Yeah.

But then there is one that we chose to have together. And it didn't matter what form we showed up in. Because I knew 100% when I met you, it took me like off track in a way that I was like, any other person would be like, I don't think so. That's insane. There was something in me that I always knew. And I still always know. And I look at us as two pieces of the same whole. And it's like we are one together. And, you know, I we were watching show last night. And I love the way they said that, you know, that you were missing from me. And, you know, I don't want you to ever be missing from me again. But I know that together, because we are who we are, there's also these detours or extra branches, I'll say, that I really truly believe that you and I together are not just for this physical human experience, but also about raising consciousness. So I believe that our contract has different, what's the word I'm looking for, you know, like there's there's just more to it. Yeah, there is a lot to your to our contract that we don't know about. There's a lot to everyone's contract. And this is the thing we

Know that there's certain things that help build the contract. So you might be working on some challenges for many lives. And I think that's important to mention to you that on the other side, even though you make a contract with these other souls and you make a contract with yourself, there's a knowing on the other side that you might not get it all done. Like it's quite daunting to come to earth because earth is like school, you know, it's like never ending. It's like soul school. And a lot of the souls that come here have to understand that the vibration is slower, things happen slower, you can't manifest as fast as you would somebody like me crazy, right? Yeah, I'm like, let's go, come on, let's do this thing.

And you know that earth is also all about contrast. So if you're coming to earth, you're coming for the beauty and the pain. And that's just going to be the way it is. And it can't be, life can't be all good. And that's why we as souls, the souls that are here on earth are actually strong enough to be here. Right. At this time. At this time, there's like a stress test. You know, I feel like before you come, and they're like, no, you're not ready yet. You know, it's too hard down there for you. And honestly, when you have repeating patterns, so when we see people that are struggling in life, often it's because they have repeating patterns that have played out over many lives. And they haven't quite figured it out yet. But on the other side, they know this, there's no judgment. It's like, well, you didn't figure it out in that life, let's start planning your next life. Right. Seriously, it's just like whatever, moving on, you know. Well, I think it was either late last night or early this morning, when we were just talking, and I said, do you know how big it is that you and I trusted ourselves enough to get to this level of consciousness in this life?

Yeah. This wasn't just a this life connection. This was a multiple, multiple past life connections that you and I have had, because we have memory. I mean, we talk about this all time, but we have memory of at least six lives that we could talk about quite easily. That's another podcast. Yeah, exactly. We'll just keep leading in the deeper conversations. But but I think that it's it's so beautiful when you trust it's so beautiful when you realize that there's so much that we can do that we don't even realize we can do and and sometimes it's letting go of things is letting go of things is such a big powerful experience. Sorry, we did something and threw me right off. Sorry. Sorry. It's okay. But it's it's like I really now truly trust and I had to learn how to let go of some things within my family, things that you think you're here to teach them. Well, guess what? If taking your head and throwing it through a brick wall 100 times doesn't tell you that that's not for you, then nothing will, right? Yeah. And I've done that repeatedly. You know, the top of my head got tired and sore and I just said no, I think I'm I think I'm good back here. Yeah, well, I mean,

That's the thing. There is that actually is built into your life plan. It's built into your life plan to beat your head up against the wall a few times before you realize it. Most people don't learn things the first time around. Right. We don't as souls. We don't as humans. It's just that it's an accepted truth. So we have like these themes that go through every can go through every life until we learn the lesson. And one, some of the themes like examples of this would be like a poverty mentality or a poverty theme. There are some souls that you don't understand how strong taking an oath of poverty is. Right. If you are in another life and you are a nun or a monk, when you've taken a vow of poverty in another life, that is so strong that will carry life to life to life. So that's why Kim and I know how important past life healing is because it's not important to go back and experience it again. It's important to release what you created. Right. And I think people, one of my biggest problems with past life stuff is that I find people give it too much power. Yeah. It's not made like quicksand

Where you're supposed to get stuck there and you need somebody to come pull you out. And even getting you out isn't an easy task. You know, I don't believe that's what it's for. No, it's not. And past lives have are in the past for a reason. Right. The interesting thing is that when you're in the spirit world, there's really no time. There's no space and time in that way. So in the spirit world, in certain awarenesses, you can go into your past lives and they can play for you as if they're happening. So we have Kim and I have developed some methods of going back and doing healing without getting too wrapped up in a past life because you already did it. You don't need to do it again. But we do carry things like addiction, trust issues, relationship problems, problems with standing up for yourself. Like we carry these things life to life.

And in a life if you had, like I'll use myself as an example for a second, that I lived a life during the witch trials that I know I was burned at the stake. And there's another life that is similar to that that I was hung for my beliefs. So I have these two lives that I have some memory of. And I realized the witch trial life was not here. I believe it was in either Scotland or Ireland where this happened to me. But when you are taken out for your beliefs and convictions in a life, so you're just being yourself and somebody, you know, or a group, you know, kills you or takes you out of that life because of you just being yourself, that doesn't just go away. So now in this life, it has taken a lot for me to own who I am because basically, if I was doing this during the time of the witch trials, I would be a witch. So it's like I had to overcome all that fear and learn to trust again that this is the path and this is the right time for me to do this. So this is how like those really dramatic things

From other lives can like creep in a bit. And then it's our job to understand that this life that I'm in now, the present life is the only one I have to deal with. And you have done a lot of stuff in your past lives to get you here. You know, otherwise you wouldn't know to do what you're doing. Well, I think one of the things I love is I've had multiple little fires, I'll say around the yard all by myself. I'll go out, I'll sit with the fire. Yeah, but just one at a time, right? It sounds like she's lighting fires everywhere. Well, I am. Well, I am. We've had we've had fires on the property, but only one at a time. I promise. Absolutely. But I'll be I'll be there in a moment. And I love to meditate like it is my favorite thing to connect with the earth. And, and Laura knows this, I'm always somewhere doing something connecting to the earth. But I'll be out there. And I know it's going to sound a little crazy to hear you. But I literally will see myself in the form I was in in that life. So I had one where I was this big, I looked almost like, like a contractor or something, you know, I had like a car, heart shirt, jacket on and jeans and stuff. And I had a ball cap on and I was healing from something that I just gone through in this life.

Okay. And then I could see myself in that life that I had struggled a lot of things in this life were about family and connection, right? And thinking that we have to have family a certain way it looks this way, it feels that way. I think we have to say to just before you continue that what I found over the years is that past lives don't have to line up. That's exactly what I was going to say. So what had happened to me was here I am in my own physical form. And I'm seeing myself as a man in that past life, right? But then what happened and this happens so fast that it's like, okay, bam, I'm looking at myself, I'm in a meditative state. And then obviously, I go to the point of that life and what was going on. But then this really cool thing happened. And it looked like seven lives that had all different color pattern, and a vibrational energy connected to them. And when I healed that thing in this life, they all opened, synced up and closed. And I wanted to ask you what your thought was on that because we talked about all this stuff all the time, but it was profound. Yeah. And it was emotional. And I felt like I physically felt it happening to me. And I thought, oh my gosh,

These timelines, they don't all they I don't all line up. It's true what they say heal in your generation and heal seven generations before exactly. So here's what here's what we're doing. We're being faced with something it looks impossible. I mean, it really for for people that aren't, you know, in this work all the time, like, this is our life, we're absorbed in it. So we know anything's possible. But doesn't it seem kind of impossible that you can heal one life and then heal seven before that? Right. But you can and even in this life, a spiritual teacher that I follow explained this and I believe this. So when she explained it, I was like, Oh my God, that's so true. So she was talking about a time in her life in her 20s where she had had so many problems and so many people had taken her power. And she was wishing in the moment that her 20 year old self could see her now and could see how beautiful, you know, her life turned out to be. And in that moment, she said it was almost like she was taken back to her 20 year old self just for a moment. And she saw her 20 year old self take a deep breath, settle and be peaceful in the knowing that her life was going to turn out beautiful.

And she said it was almost like it corrected the energy in her entire life up to that point. Absolutely. It does feel that way too, because something happens. And I always say, poor Laura, she has to listen to me be deep, deep, deep. I'll come in and I'll be meditating and I'll be talking about all this stuff. But it's like, it does something to you in the moment where it looks to me like we're in this game. And we just hit the bonus round. And it's like, you get the bonus points meaning that I've had these healings in my physical body because of this. And I know for me, a lot of my lessons in this life, there's multiple lessons and they're they're multifaceted. But one of them is that in my family, the women didn't have a voice.

And I knew that I was here to change that so not it wasn't this isn't my whole soul path, but there this is a very big piece of my soul contract was to be in this family that really the women were not, they didn't have a voice that you don't listen to what the woman says with any value. It's just like, you're the housekeeper and you're, you're the wife and the mother, but you really weren't given the space to be more. And I have, I think I came out of the womb going, look out, get out of my way. Because I've always known that I was meant for bigger things. And as they as these things are created, I'll go through them and I get toward the other side. And I'm like, wow, my life is so much bigger than I could have ever imagined. And I'm doing so many things that I didn't realize how much I love the simplicity of these things I'm doing and how they're affecting me. But they're also they still connect with that whole theme of being a strong independent woman in this time. And for some of us, it is way harder than it is for others. So, well, that's the thing your soul plan your your sacred soul

Contracts and your life plan are there for your soul growth. So what's happening? What's happening with you? You're you've chosen an area of growth in femininity, in independence, in strength, and you are re you are correcting some of the energy in your ancestry, but also within your own path. Right. And with we like, we have gone through many, many lives. And we have all been male and female. We've all taken different roles. We've all been, you know, prominent people, we've all been wealthy people, we've all been poor people, sick people, healthy people, right? Like we've chosen many, many, many plans. And we are in this for two reasons, soul growth for ourselves, soul growth for others. So it's that love for self and for others that creates the plan. And that's why the plan is so beautiful.

Because it's really the love that you have had Kimberly for your family on a soul level to continue to come back with them, to continue to help them grow. And they help you grow and turn. And that actually is all based in love. And when when I was when I was pregnant with my third pregnancy, I I'm going to be honest, I wasn't I wasn't really wanting to have another baby at the time. I had two kids. My youngest was three. And I was just getting out of all the baby stuff, you know, like the diapers and everything. And I got pregnant and the first my first reaction wasn't wasn't great. You know, I was like normal though, for anyone. Yeah, I was sort of like, Oh, I just got my career figured out, you know, my kids just got out of the, you know, little stages and yeah, I wasn't ready.

And then I like as time went on during the pregnancy, I started to accept it and started to get really excited. And then we I got to my, you know, it was supposed to be my 20 week ultrasound, but it was a couple weeks late. And they found something wrong with the baby. And I was devastated, just devastated. There was multiple tests and lots of things that happened in between. But the but the basic story, the basic thing was that the baby was not going to live. So I had to let go. And it was probably one of the hardest things I ever had to do. But the realization that came a few months later was that I had to I had to say goodbye in the physical, but that he was never really going to leave me, that I felt him with me all the time. I felt him as a part of me. It's like his energy was always there. It was like, it was always there even before I was pregnant with him, which is so strange because like, he felt so familiar and so connected to me.

And then the message came that his soul chose me to have that experience. That was the, that was all his soul chose was 26, 27 weeks with me. And that he said, I chose you because I loved you. And it hit me so hard because I thought, so this is a soul that chose me to give me the blessing of his physical presence for just that little bit of time. And I think it's coming in the future that we do a whole podcast on William because William was somebody that communicated with me the first time I met Laura. I heard I went to a group reading and I met her and I just was so drawn to her. But I also heard from spirit. I heard a voice say, you need to help her. She's carrying the energy of a child that's not there anymore. And that's all I heard. And I was just like, yep, no problem.

That's one thing I love about me. I have always had this trust since I was a little girl. I can remember being four and five and trusting who I was. And you know, I think about this like now completely differently. Obviously, when you're going through it, it's really sad. Oh, for sure. But now I see it in a way that he loved me enough to come and give my soul that experience. And I loved him enough to help him cross that off his list as a soul. Well, and that's the thing. When we think about all the experiences we've had working on multiple different people, pardon me, people in multiple different places within themselves, within their health. I mean, I remember that little boy we worked on that was seven with leukemia. And, you know, you do things because you know, it's the right thing to do. But sometimes these things teach us something and we could feel it as hard as it was to work on this little guy and his mom was was so obviously it's like distraught. But we could feel him he was okay.

He was at the end of his life. And he was worried about her. He was worried about his mom. He was okay. Do you remember that was such a beautiful he actually so we were called in to at end of life for this little boy because that's sort of what happens with Kim and I like when people are at the end of the rope, it's their last ditch effort, their last resort. And I think the mom was looking for a miracle and who wouldn't? I mean, when I was in the position of losing a baby, I was looking for a miracle too. So I totally get it. But she called us in and we realized right away when we got there that we weren't there, we were there to help her move forward through this transition. And he was already the first time I met him because I went in, I went in a few times ahead of Kim and then Kim came with me.

But the first time I met him, he was already gone. His body was there. They were keeping him alive. He was on respirators, but he was he was gone. And he told me he told me I'm on the beach and I am running up and down the beach and I am having a great time and I just wish my mom was okay. Yeah. And that's all it was. And that's what most of the time it is. It's that we can't let go and you know, sometimes people take me the wrong way. I'm a very big energy, but I love so big. And I have such a softness to me like I have to protect myself all the time because I don't want to not be me. So I don't want to wear the armor, because I had to wear the armor the first like more than half of my life I had to wear the armor. Yeah. But I once you learn that you don't have to wear armor, you can armor up when you need to meaning sometimes when I know I'm going to be around certain people, I'll I'll sort of pump up my energy or purify my energy for this thing, right? But I just I don't I don't look at things the same way as I used to.

I don't let them take my energy like I used to because I have more understanding and I know my wife has been very good to me, because there's been lots of times I don't really understand why anybody else can't do something because I go nobody taught me how to do these things. But I always have this knowing within me that I trust and I'll be it doesn't matter if it's tile work, I'll be like, well, I might break a couple tiles. But that's okay, because I'm going to figure it out as I go. And that is my mentality. Yeah, completely. But I have this trust within myself that I have always had, even when I've had scary moments and I've had many. But there's always been this thing with me that I trust that I have within myself what I need to survive in this life. I also have that same trust for my children. Both my kids, I have the same trust. Now I can tell you, I don't have that for anybody else. Well, that really, you know, that really is a part of your gift, I think your ability, because not everybody is born with that. Some people come here and they have to build all that, you know, they have to figure it out. And you know, the idea of these sacred contracts, I think we just like anything in spirituality, you have to decide how you feel about

Something. And if the truth resonates with you. But what I have learned, and a really good book for this too is actually called Sacred Contracts, Carolyn Mace. I love her. She wrote an amazing book about contracts. But when you think about it, even my contract with William, I had a contract with him to carry him to 27 weeks. And that was my contract with him. But he didn't just leave me stuck around. Now I can't say it's been challenging as a medium to connect with my own child, you know, like I have, but it's it's not an easy thing to do. I can connect with other people much easier than my own family. But do you think that's because of the pain of like it's so direct, right? And you feel it on such a sharp level, emotions can work for you and against you. Both are good. Both are good. But yeah, we make these sacred contracts with other souls. It creates challenge sometimes, and it enhances your knowledge and wisdom. So of course, it's going to expand you as a soul expansion sometimes means that you need to be cracked wide open. And that's why these soul contracts are so powerful. And so impactful

In your life that sometimes it creates trauma. And our plan sort of sort of the plan as a soul is to obviously overcome these things, but some people can't, you know, they get stuck. And so we need, we need to know that contracts are there for our growth. They're there for us. And they also can be short, like somebody could pop into your life and teach you a lesson and then pop right out, you know, even if it's a bad lesson, like a hard one, there was something to that that you needed to learn. And I think you and I have had loads of those like in different ways. Yeah, I've had people come into my life for, you know, years, but, you know, a certain number of years. And as soon as I get the lesson, they're gone, you know, and it's not always, not always fun to have those kinds of lessons, but you they're needed for what's coming in your life to prepare you. And I think we deal with a lot of things too, like marriage is a sacred contract. If you are entering into a marriage with somebody, you are signing a contract with them.

And the thing that we don't understand as humans is we make this contract with somebody from a place where you're in love with them, and you don't see an end, you know, everything's wonderful and perfect, you know, but we don't realize that our contracts sometimes have expiry dates. And I have experienced this with some of the big contracts in my life that when the contract is complete, it's like the emotions are totally different. Like one particular person, I could tell the contract was done because she had, she had really on a human level done a whole bunch of crappy things to me, like a whole bunch. Like there was no reason why I shouldn't be angry at this person. A lot of she took a lot of money from me. She like, you know, there was a tons of stuff. So and I instead of being angry, I was angry for about two weeks.

And then something happened, it was like a switch went off. And I wasn't angry anymore. In fact, I felt really bad for her. I felt compassion. I felt worried for her. And so the whole energy shifted because I wasn't in the like, I was in sort of, I hate to say the power seat, but it shifted the power, the power in our relationship, it shifted the energy. But you needed to be in power seat because you weren't yeah, it's going through it. And then part of the lesson was for you to know that you could do that on your own. So you needed that person to show you how to get there. Or that it's possible. And then after that, more people came into my life to show me again that I could stand on my own two feet and I could do my own thing. And it's been so important that Kim and I do the same work and we, we work together, but it's been so important for my soul to maintain something that I do that is just me. And Kim and I have talked about this kind of back and forth because, you know, most people would just, I don't know, most people would probably just fold into each other. But we've both said like we can't do that again, because we did that in our previous marriages, and then you feel like you lose yourself. Right. And we know in

Past lives, we've done it as well, because we do have those awarenesses. But it's funny that you said that I, I knew, I knew I was going to leave my husband, we went away on a trip, Alberta, and, you know, something happened. And this thing was so big. And I just I was in shock at first that it would even happen. And then it led me to think, you know, we think we're leaving for our reasons, but sometimes we're leaving because we need to give that person permission to have their own, like what's best for them. And you realize that you're not really what's best for them. Right. And also, and that's what happened to me when the contract is ending. Yes. Quite dramatic things can happen. Right. If you're a person that is not in action. Right.

So not that you're not, but if in a marriage, if you are trying and trying and trying, and it's not working, and you're still staying together, but the universe knows it's time for this to end, they'll start, the universe throws wrenches into everything. Or they throw Laura into it. Or Laura. Because I remember, I remember one of the things about you and I, and it's still that way is how much I love just being in these moments where we talk about consciousness and we talk about evolving and, and spirituality and even the archetypes. I remember that book when we read it, and you were just like, Oh, my gosh, this is the four basic archetypes. Like, it blew your mind, right? So it's just that I had a way of studying from my perspective, you had away from learning and studying from your perspective, and we've kind of molded those together. And sometimes we both know that Laura's a psychic medium, I'm in the healing profession.

And the healing profession for me is even in the products that I make and the things I grow outside and how much I trust in the plant intelligence and, and all these things, it's me listening to the earth in a different way than you listen to spirit. But a lot of times the answers are the same, which is so beautiful. But you know, I do want to mention this because we're talking about people in our lives and how they change us and affect us. And I didn't want to say like that this was a good distinction. So, so learning like that, your contracts for you, that's a big deal, right? Because then when things happen in your life, you go, Oh, well, that was really shitty, but that was for me. Yay. I always go, flash the toilet, that one's gone. Thank God. Yeah. Or like, if you're in an experience and you're wondering why the same pattern keeps happening and why you keep having to deal with it, stop and ask, ask the universe, what is my lesson? Because when you're aware of the lesson, you can move towards it and then hopefully stop that behavior or that pattern.

But yeah, like Kim is a primary person in my life. I'm a primary person in her life, which means that we're very important. We're going to be in each other's lives, like probably the rest of our lives. And excuse me, still fighting the cold. And then you have secondary people that kind of pop in and out. And they might be people like maybe an old high school friend, maybe a coworker, you know, maybe a neighbor. They're people that are, they're still important in your life, but they're just not, you know, that person that's in your life to actually make real change. And so, and primary people can come and go too. It doesn't mean they have to be in your life forever, but primary people are like your family, your, you know, your parents, siblings, your grandparents, like the people that have worked in your life and affected your life.

So when you're doing your life plan, these are the type of people that you're making the contracts with. And I have to say that I now look at picking, choosing the father and the mother that I chose and even my siblings. I'm like, whoa, like as hard as it was, and as hard as it sometimes still is, it was like, what a perfect selection. My mother certainly taught me to love and to love beyond belief. And her whole existence was to be a mother and a wife. And she did that to the best of her ability and let me tell you she did a great job. But for me, I was always looking at her go mom, dude, don't you want to do more? Don't you want to be bigger, like, you know, and have a bigger life? And, you know, for whatever reason she was where she was, she seemed to be quite okay with where she had landed. And again, she would get so excited, especially when the boys came home and she could cook and clean and do things for them that brought joy to her as a mother, that's what you do. You cook and clean as a mom. But I needed to be so much more than that.

So imagine me being me. I was like, raw, I'm taking on the world. I'm going to do this shit. And then I had a mother who for her, she was completely okay with that to me, small life. But see, there is another example of a life plan that your mom, if she wanted to do something else, she would have, right? If there was something else on her plan, she would have done it. So that was her life calling. That was what she was here to do. I know one of the things I loved right before she passed, my mother passed away a little over a year ago. And she looked at me in a moment. And it was before she got really sick, so that her memory was starting to be bad and all that stuff. But she was so like, she said it was such conviction. And she looked at me like I had five heads.

And she said, Kimmy, look at everything you've done in your life. She said, look at all of what you've created for yourself. And now look at what you and Laura have done together. And she meant that we renovated our house. But she also meant the love we created for each other. Respect. Yeah, the life we created. And she looked at me and she said, and without a man, because in her world, you could not survive without a man. Oh, it wasn't that long ago, you couldn't own a business, a piece of property, or have a credit card if you're a woman. So that was that happened in her generation, right? Yeah. But this was months before she died, right? So for me, that was so big. And she looked at me with such admiration. And I, I needed that. I needed that from her, you know, because I always was trying to protect her and to try to let everybody see the beauty that she was. So Oh, but see, there it is right there that she, she came here and she did what she was supposed to do. Yep. That's exactly it. Inspire you, be there for your family, show people love, and be a mom, be a good mom. So the other thing, like Kim mentioned the archetypes, and I just thought it was interesting, like because it is, it plays into your life plan sometimes.

People choose, there's four main archetypes that people tend to fall into when they've really been struggling, or they've really been beat down by an experience. And I like talking about them because it really explains people when they're not in a good place. These probably have, I think these archetypes probably have a positive side, like the opposite, but in the, in the, like challenging side, there's the child. So that's like, you'll see a child like person, an adult who's behaving like a child, you know, they might be, they might have some fears that are irrational, you know, or they might say something weird, like, like, we've actually, you can see this in people, like maybe you're having a little talk or a get together. And all of a sudden, the person gets mad at what you said, and they're grabbing all their stuff and they're going home. And it just reminds me of, it reminds me of the little kid that's like, I'm mad at you, so I'm taking my toy and I'm going home, you know, or you might hear in somebody that they can't be alone, you know, they have a fear of being alone. And that would be kind of like back to that child kind of archetype, or even that maybe,

Well, it couldn't be the wounded child. Yeah, like a lot of, like, like they need somebody, somebody else to, you know, fill in the gaps for them. So the other one is the victim. So everybody knows the victim. Yeah. It's the person that just can't seem to get out of their own way and everybody's hurting them. Everybody's doing things to them. And it's not your fault. It's everybody else's. And it's not the victim's fault, right? They don't take responsibility. So this is like solution avoidant people. They don't want to hear your advice. They don't want any solutions. They like where they are. They like being a victim. It gives them something to talk about. It's part of their identity. So the prostitute and not in the typical way, but there's a lot of prostitutes. Yeah. So it's somebody who trades their safety and well-being for stuff or like safe life or for security. So you're staying in a marriage because you have a house in a car and, you know, you have security or you're staying in a job because the job pays you a lot of money, you know, but it's soul sucking.

Those are the ways we prostitute ourselves. So it's not the literal meaning. It's more like you're trading, you know, your well-being for stuff and comfort. The other thing is the other one is the saboteur. So you know these people that are highly intelligent people, highly capable, but they get to the very end of something and they sabotage themselves. So you see this sometimes in university students, they work so hard, you know, they're, they get their nose down, they're studying all the time. And then when it comes to the final exam or the final paper, they go out the night before and they get so drunk that they're hungover and they don't pass in their paper or they don't, they're not very good for the exam. So this can happen where people sabotage their own success and it's mostly to do with a fear of failure, but this is somebody who is obviously very capable. This is somebody that people would question and they go, wait a second, like why is that person failing? So the archetypes can be woven into your life plan too and they show up at different times. You might see them in yourself and you might go, oh, that's where that went. I don't like that. You know, I don't like that the victim just showed up or I don't like that the child just showed up. So yeah, I like to

Talk about those with life plans just because I feel like those four archetypes are in every single one of us. Absolutely. That's what I was just going to say. There are many other archetypes we've, you know, Lauren talked about before. Hundreds. But these are the four basic ones that everyone has and you'll slip in and out of some of these over your lifetime, you know? So good to be aware of them because when I hear myself, like sometimes I hear myself get mopey, like I'm hungry. Somebody make me some food. I hear myself slip in and out of them all the time and it's just, if you're aware of it, you don't stay there and it doesn't cause you any problems. It's just part of being here. Well, I think awareness is the best, best thing ever. Yeah. It's like, you know, you have this thing within you that you can figure shit out and it can be a lot easier than it was before. The more you understand this, then the more you know that awareness is constantly evolving, you're constantly growing, you're constantly learning and shifting and it's okay. Yeah. You know, so well, that's the thing I, I like to say that we have every single person has their own personal truth. So if every single person has their own personal truth and we have all the energy beings,

Like all our loved ones that are in the spirit world, they all have their personal truth, then there's an infinite number of personal truths. I think we could do a whole podcast on visitors. Oh yeah. Yeah. All the different times we've had visitors that came from different places. Oh yeah. We'll have to do that. Yeah. That'll be a good one. But I just think that we have all this, we have this concept of what is real and what is truth. And I think we really have to switch that around a little bit and look at the fact that they're just because somebody has a different truth than you, it doesn't mean it's not truth. Right. And it doesn't mean that it doesn't affect them in the way that they said it does. So this is an understanding that we all have a sacred, we all have sacred contracts. We all have a sacred life plan.

And we are living out our life plan the way we need to. And so that's why we don't have to worry about what other people are doing. As long as they're not out there hurting people, you know, they can, they can manage, they can do whatever they need to do within their sole plan because we are not always privy to that information. Right. Why is that person doing that? Well, it's none of our business. They have their own plan and there's, there's imperfection that is built into the perfect plan. Right. So I, I know because we kind of touched on this Kim did at the beginning that our lives are like these imperfect, perfect packages. If they could just trust a little bit more, it would make it a lot easier. Right. Right. Just trust through that and understand that your life plan is going to be fulfilled in the perfect way. And anything that doesn't happen in this life, you just tack it on to another life. You just say, okay, well, I didn't get it in this life, so, but I'm going to get it in the next life. And that is sort of comfort for me. Sometimes when I meet people that are difficult or, you know, they're giving us a hard time about something that I kind of tell myself deep breath and I go, they'll either get it when they're here or they'll get it when they're gone, but they will get it. That's right. Eventually.

Good note the end on. Right. So that is my, that's my feeling about life plans and about sacred contracts is that other people's contracts are none of our business. Right. Okay. Other people's life plans and someone who is really like people that are going and they're doing their life and you don't agree or you don't like this or you don't like that deep breath, they're either going to get it while they're here or they'll get it when they're gone. And that's all you need to know. Amen, sister. All right. So we will be back next week with another soul intriguing, triggering conversation. Amen.
