Hello, I'm Kimberly. And I'm Laura. And today we're talking about the power of letting go. This is a very big topic, as most are, they all are. Every topic can be pretty deeper. Well, this is a hard lesson for anybody, but I think I have had a really hard time in my life letting go of things. And it's partly my nature, but it's partly how we think about things and how we involve ourselves in it. And sometimes I think we all have a kind of a tendency to fall back and blame ourselves when things don't go right. And that's been, I would say, a big issue for me in the overthinking part of it.

Well, and some of that is like, how can I say? Like, if your family was that way, then you learn how to be that way too. So it's very programmed into us. It's conditioning. It's conditioning. That's what I was looking for. Yeah, it's like that. It's something that happens, like it's not, I don't believe that's the natural state for us to blame ourselves. No, I don't think that. I think it's been taught to us. It's been part of our experience. And I think that when we're younger, this is more apt to happen more often than as we age, we get to this place where this is why I always say, I would never, I hear people all the time saying, oh, I'd love to be 20 again. And I'm like, no fricking way. It took me all my life to get to this place where I love myself and I don't beat myself up about things.

And I really can look at insecurity in multiple different ways and see how it's affected me or whatever. But we are very programmed by our family and our childhood and our experience. And then we get into the phase where we're a parent ourselves and we're married and we're setting up a house. And we're learning a whole bunch of new things and trying to balance everything. And that's it. I mean, we have, obviously, you have a personality traits that kind of can lead you to be more susceptible to certain things. But when we're talking about letting go, we're not just saying, like, you know, move on or forget about something or like, I guess that's a big thing in the spiritual kind of community. They'll say to you, oh, you know, don't hang on to that.

Just let go. But you can't. I like that, though, because, you know, you can't, you can't just let go. I think there's multiple, multiple layers and levels to it. Right. It's not just the layers of like the process. It's actually like your own, like your emotional state, your mental state, your physical state, your, your spiritual state. So there, there's multiple levels to letting go. This is not just like you wake up one morning and go, I need to let go of that terrible thing that happened to me. It doesn't work like that. Yeah. And like it's so easy, right? You just open the garbage can, put it in there and it's done and you don't have to look at it again. But that's better. Like there's a little bit better information out there now. Like I think I'm seeing more like if the people that you might follow on Instagram or whatever, you're seeing more explanation.

But there was only a few years ago that the whole, you know, idea was just let go. Just release it. And I'm like, I used to see these people posting these things and I go, what do you mean? Just let go. Like I'm going to, somebody did something terrible to me and I'm just going to let go. Like, you know, I didn't get that at all. I was like, what is this about? Because, you know, we're human and we're here to have a human experience. So yes, you are a spiritual being. You are an eternal spiritual being, but you are actually here to have the human experience and to learn what it is to be human. So if you are here for that, then you have to understand that you are going to feel pretty human sometimes. You are not a superhero and somebody.

You can be a superhero at points, but not all the time. You know, somebody comes along and steals your ice cream. I mean, you're not going to get over that right away. Well, look at how I'm going to take a few minutes. Look at how many people have road rage. Where does that come from? Right. Why just let it go. Then you're never going to have road rage again. I don't think so. Yeah, it really takes breaking down the programming, just like it just like it does to break down dysfunction. Yeah. You know, you have to figure it out. You have to find a new pathway and you have to stick to it. And that's hard because you have life things, life experiences happening to you and things being thrown at you all the time. Right. So you can't always think while you're what's that old saying? Think while you're you can't think when you're standing up or whatever.

I don't know. It's I don't know that one. I don't know that one. Oh, man. But no, I this is this is the thing is that we know in our work because this is what we do. We work through the multiple layers. Right. And there's not just like, OK, we've got the layers we know about emotional, mental, physical, spiritual. But your energy, your energy field remembers everything. Oh, absolutely. We have the energy of our cellular memory as well. Like it before your actual memory does, there's a physical reaction in your body like that you have. I know. Think about anybody you've ever had to be around and you know, they're a very negative person before you even get to their house, before you even or if you didn't even know you were going to, you know, be in contact with them that day, ran into them unexpectedly.

Your energy shifts. You get right back into you either armor up. Yeah. Right. Or you are already prepared yourself for what's going to happen. Well, yeah, that's that's real. Literally how triggers work. We talk about triggers on one level and we could say, oh, yeah, you're going to have feelings like emotions. You're going to, you know, you're going to have a physical feeling in your body like you're those are the triggers. It's going to, you know, cause you to go right back to those memories. But triggers are there to show you what you need to work on. So that trigger is your lesson. That's the indication that that's where the lesson is and you have to go there. And I think this is the part that sometimes we miss because we don't want to go there because it's hard.

But you literally and very uncomfortable. You literally have to sometimes walk into the lion's den to heal. And people, of course, we avoid it. Who wants to do that? You know, who wants to go back into the pain and back into the wound? But that's the only way through. And there's a way to do it. And we we wanted to talk about it, but we this idea, like our energy field is holding and the control that you have, you have the control to talk to your energy field and release the things that you need to release. You can actually talk to the layers of the aura and say, where is this sitting? When can I like, can I release this? Can I let this go now? Or is the lesson not not complete?

Sometimes the lesson's not done and that's OK. But you're still moving through it and you're still allowed to feel like I always thought this like we don't get we don't get kind of like an energy education. So we get all the other types of education. You know, we we learn about finances and we learn about the working world and you take math and English and all history and school, you do all those things. But nobody teaches you about your own energy field. And your energy field is an intelligent force, a consciousness that you can talk to and work with. And and and it can teach you and you can teach. You can kind of instruct it and say, hey, I don't like the way this feels.

Can we work through this? Can you show me what the next steps are? And you can work together with your own field. And that's the control that we have. We are limitless beings and now we're in this place where we're evolving. People are evolving to such a great level. Here I am writing. I'm writing the book and completing like this manuscript about mediumship. And I'm in the middle of it going, I really hope by the time this comes out, it's not outdated because things are changing so fast. And right now it's current, you know, and I'm and it's coming from that kind of perspective of human expansion and evolution. But oh, my gosh, things are changing so fast every day. There's so much information.

So we have to really think about how we put ourselves in a place of power because what happens, what happens when something happens to you? Somebody does something to you, you become the victim. And then you feel the trick is you feel powerless. You feel like they took your power, but that is just it's that's a falsehood. That's just like a facade. That's not actually that's not true. You have control over your own emotions, feelings, energy, everything. So how how do you move through that victim state? You have to take your power back. And when you do take your power back and everything flows back to you, that's when the real healing starts to begin because you start to see that you have control and you can direct how you feel about something.

And I think nobody lets go, at least in my experience, what I've what I've noticed about my life. And I did choose a very big life. So that means I've had a lot of different experiences in this life already, like multiple. So I think that what I've noticed is no one lets go of whatever it is they're trying to let go of completely. It's like a root of a tree. You know, it's like you just feel like you let go and it's like your layers of an onion, you know, you go through life and you think you let go and then something will hit you five years down the road and really set you back. And you'll be thinking, well, I don't understand. I was doing so good. I know our human I know our human self goes. I already did all that work. I don't want to give it again. That's exactly what it says, because it's work and it's uncomfortable.

But the truth is, is we let go of whatever we're able to let go of. I know when I work on a client, it's just the same as you do a reading. You have this like prayer for the person when you start and when you finish. But my prayer is always for their highest good and highest healing. And I always ask for whatever they're capable of and ready to let go of in that treatment, because you cannot control what someone else is like letting go looks like, but that's it. It's capacity, right? Like, do they actually have the capacity to completely release? Very few people do. So you don't heal one hundred percent from something in a moment or in one practice. It takes time. That's why we talk about like that onion effect, where you peel off the layers of the onion and I have on like all the time people come to me and they say, listen, I was I had this thing happen.

I was OK, but now I'm finding I'm really emotional again. And I can't seem to get my footing. I can't seem to get my like back on track. And the reason that happens is because you learn to the point where you could learn way back then and how you've grown and changed and you have more space in your life to deal with this problem. So it comes back to you. But you if you fight it, it you're never going to be able. If you fight it in the way that you say, I already did all this and I'm not feeling this right now and I don't want to do this right now. If you fight it like that, it it's not going to go away. Right. Because it's it's the signal is the reason you're feeling that way is it's time it's time to do this.

It's time to allow yourself to go through this. Well, and I think again, back to the letting go part and you only heal what you're ready for is it does take a lot of time. And I think the better you get at it, meaning that the more work, the more inaction you are to help yourself let go of whatever it is because it changes your whole mindset when you start letting go. And you do realize you can only let go of what you're ready for in that moment. But as you get used to doing it, you get so much better at it and you're so much more aware of when you're losing when you're losing your power. That's one of the things I loved about Celestine prophecies. I started that book in 2006 and then you and I got together and we kind of revisited it and they have a part of the movie where they're actually showing how the person is, you know, taking the other person's energy.

So I'll call the or trying to or trying to take the other person's energy. And you literally they show you it energetically, which I think is so incredible because people need the visual to see that. Yeah. But when you start realizing that you are leaking energy or you're giving your power away and you start realizing how to hold on to it because I know I'm somebody who I do not like giving my power away at all. I did when I was a kid, I had no choice. But as I learned and grew and evolved and become more awoken, I just started realizing that, you know, I need this energy. This is my energy field. And in order to keep myself healthy and happy, which was a big one because I used to always joke with Lauren say, I could just go and live in the backwoods in a little cottage and grow my own food and all that and just come out into the world when I need to.

Well, I do still do that in a little bit different way. You know, I live here in Halifax on our property and I'm always digging in the dirt and connecting with spirit. And they guide me most of the time. But when I have to go out into the busy, it is hard for me. And I have to do this whole little ritual when I go out in the public and it takes seconds. But it just is you are very much more aware of your energy. And once you start realizing it, you will not let people take your energy. So you get better at the letting go because it's more solidified within you. Well, this is it. This is the process of awareness of realizing where you are. Yeah. So knowing this about yourself, that you you can create your own reality and you don't need to allow anything in that reality that takes from you.

And if things are coming into your reality that are stirring you up, bothering you, hurting you, you have to look at those things as lessons because that's how we stay out of victimhood when something comes in and it it happens to you, you then have to recognize what's happening. So this is the part of the emotional IQ. I think a lot of people don't really have to really know how you feel about things and to really trust your emotions. Your emotions can guide you through this entire experience of release if you let if you let them, yeah, so your emotions are speaking to you. You just have to know that sometimes when you cry, it doesn't always mean you're hurt. Maybe maybe you're fearful, you know, or maybe you're really angry or maybe you're just ready.

Right. So so that's just an example. But I love crying now. But think about, yeah, sometimes just a great release. But think about how much you're holding inside and these emotions sometimes they don't they come out in different ways. We're taught, oh my gosh, when you're when you're crying, you're sad. That's not always true. So you have to know your own emotions and you have to really pay attention and you have to be willing to dig deeper. But when the emotions surface, then you can say, OK, why am I feeling this way? Try to get to the root of it. And if it's caused by another person or even an event, a health crisis or whatever, the next thing you should be asking is, what is this trying to teach me? What do I need to learn from this? And you can ask the universe to you can say, what's in my highest good at this time?

What do I need to see? What do I need to learn from this? If we could all do that, we would move through things so much faster. You still have to have some sort of practice to release. So I like doing sort of like a daily intention or a daily visualization. And I've done this before with various people in my life that if if they've come along, they've hurt me or whatever, I'll take a little take a few minutes every day out of my practice. And I just have an intention that I am I am learning. I'm moving through this. I am understanding that I'm a learning being and I'm also understanding from the universe that everything's happening in my highest good. So I'm seeing that there is a lesson here. Maybe I don't know exactly what the lesson is yet, but I know there is a lesson. I'm open to learning the lesson.

And then I do a little. This sounds really funny, but I might put the person if it's a person, I'll visualize them in a little rowboat and and I walk to the end of the dock and I untie the rowboat and I let them float away. Yeah, it's not violent. No, it's not, you know, mean it's nothing, you know, and they're fine. It's just they're it's just I don't want their energy close to me. And I'm letting them go. I'm saying this is who you are. This is the part you had to play in my life. I understand, you know, that you had a part to play. And I am just going to say that I am sending universal love to you for where you are. But the love doesn't have to come from me and I can let you go. So that little visualization, watching them float away until you can't see them anymore.

You know, like it's nothing that you would ever you would never do that in like real time or the real world. But it is helpful. It is helpful to understand that that's OK. That person can be their their own self. Yeah, they can do their own thing. But sometimes you just don't want them doing their own thing around you. But that's the biggest part of letting go for me, because you got to think about there's so many different places we could go with this. Because as a child, you know, you even look at a little kid, they get all upset and they get emotional and some parents can't handle it. Or I don't know, my son and his wife have four kids. I can see a lot of times that they're overwrought. But, you know, the child cries and then what does the parent do? They feel like they're not doing something right. So they judge themselves, which makes the energy even more chaotic, right?

Instead of just stopping in the moment and looking at the child and saying, do you need me to kiss you, boo boo? Or what's wrong? Is what like I find when you give kids a moment and make it about just a moment and not about what you're feeling or what they're feeling. And it's all mixed up in a whole ball of crazy. Kids, usually that was one of the superpowers of being a mom. I used to love is that, you know, my kids and believe me, I was a strict mother because I took the job serious and I wanted them to grow up to be good human beings and know how to survive this life and all that and enjoy it as well. But, you know, I used to feel like that was one of the greatest things is that you could literally kiss their boo boo. And a couple of seconds later, they look at you like, oh, it's all better.

I was like, geez, this is a great job. Super, but you know, we also we armor up, we armor up. And, you know, we put protection around ourselves. So how do you break through barriers when you've got so much going on? How do you let go when you get to that place? It's it's not as easy. Some letting go is easier than others. But some you've got to figure out why why have I armored up? I think the idea, too, is to make a promise to yourself to do the best you can do. Absolutely. Make a promise to yourself that maybe I can't let this go today, but I I want to let this go. Maybe I can let go of a piece today. Maybe I can let go of another piece tomorrow. This is not this is not a thing where trust me, I have had a struggle with letting go of many things in my life.

And in the end, what happens is I get to this place where I go, wait a second, why am I suffering? Why am I suffering? Suffering to me is a choice. Because we all have we all have we all have adversity. We all have struggle. And that is normal. But when you stay in a place from something that happened in the past and you stay in the same emotional state as when it happened. Mm hmm. That's not good. Sorry, that's you. Yeah. That's you. Yeah. If somebody wronged you 10 years ago and you are still in the exact same emotional state, that's your fault. I have to be really honest about that. Well, and you have the experience yourself, you know what it's like to have to let go of something that's really deep and really painful.

And but you know that you have that you have to do that for your own self and your own personal energy. You know, now I will say that when things happen to you as a child, when it's OK, when things happen to you as a child, your childlike perception can hold you back from releasing. So sometimes we have to go into the child state and understand what was happening to us as a child to have the awareness in order to release it because you can't release it if you're looking at it as an adult. You May not be able to release it the way that you would is if you were looking at it, how you felt as a child. So well, that's the other side of it is there's there's layers to the age we are when we're letting go to an example is a child's parent passes away and they don't understand they don't understand that the parent maybe the parent had some kind of condition that that society thinks we should control like alcoholism or something.

So maybe the parent was an alcoholic. So the child then absorbs the idea that my parent shows alcohol over me. And that's why they died and they they abandoned me. But an adult, a healed adult can look at this and say my parent was sick. My parent had a sickness, had an addiction and they did the best they could. But then what happens? Do you actually are you actually able to fully release and heal from the adult perception? You might not be able to. Right. You might have to go back into the child state and the wounded child, right? Go back into the child idea that my parent did this on purpose and they abandoned me. And you know, you might have to go back into the child like idea to correct it.

And you do in my work in our work, I would say that you do have to do that more than you don't. Yeah, it's it's very common. There's times that I still have clients, friends, family members that when I'm in their company, I literally look at them and I can see the wounded child. I can see their younger self just physically visible to me. I can feel it and it happens a lot, actually. So it's a good reminder to me that maybe they're ready to to hit that level where they can go back in it as an adult, as an involved adult that has a better perception of what what happened and what was real and what wasn't because we can make things seem very real in our minds. But it's like there's people in my life now that I struggled with forever.

And I can honestly say that really recently I've had if this year, 2026 for all of all of our listeners that are evolving, it has been rapid pace for me. It's been like, you know, healing, healing, healing, like this perception has been oh, we're in the we're in the phase of the wounded healer. Oh, it's so strong. Yeah. And it's and it's beautiful, too, because I can see that we're there. And the amount of shifting I've been doing in the lessons and downloads this year have been mind blowing, but so grateful for them because, you know, you feel yourself let go. You feel when you get to that place where you go, oh, my gosh, that doesn't have power over me anymore. And I am somebody my personality is very much somebody who likes to take the shit out and put it on the table and say, OK, what do I what do I still have to like heal from?

What's still what's still occupying space in my body? Because I don't like anything being occupying space that I'm not, you know, I want to deal with it and I want to evolve through it. And I'll read and I'll listen to when you ask that question. Sometimes you get you get ancestral healing. You get past life healing. You get inner child healing. Like you get a ton of stuff. And like I I had this I've had these like realizations sometimes when clients are in front of me. And I noticed I don't know how to explain this without like without labeling a client, but I'll say it this way. I've noticed that with some clients, they're going through something that their parent or grandparent or even great grandparent could not overcome.

Right. So they're in their life. They are actually overcoming it, but it is terribly hard. But they are doing it and they are getting through it. And it's it's because their parent or grandparent or somebody in their ancestral line couldn't do it. Sometimes it's connected to poverty. Sometimes it's connected to like career success. Sometimes it's connected to relationships, marriages. But I have seen clients who are struggling through something. They are getting through it bit by bit, but it's so difficult. It's such a difficult experience because they're not just overcoming it for themselves, they're overcoming it for their entire family line. So when we talk about heal, release, let go. I mean, come on, if you're if you're releasing for six generations, that's going to be hard.

Well, and this you remind me of a meditation I was doing one time here. I was meditating around the house and I was done doing some gardening and I sat down and I think I was having a fire. I love fires because it's very cleansing and releasing. And in the moment, it took me right into a visualization. That I knew in the moment I was having an actual incredible release and letting go, but it looked like it almost looked like seven layers had opened up and showed me seven lives that I've healed. So what I had was this actual awareness in the moment that I was having a real actual letting go, like what you're talking about, like this lineage letting go. And when you're the person in your family that breaks this pattern of abuse, dysfunction, mental illness, whatever it is, it's it's profound because it literally showed me all these seven layers and they were expanded outward, almost like there was one that was really, really long from really, really far back.

And then I kept getting shorter and shorter into present time. But I just I felt almost like I had this release where I just cried and it felt so profound and it was so like beautiful, expansive. So there's the other part of this is that when you let go, it you're letting go of that that piece of energy that you're holding in your body and your aura and your energy field. And then it dissipates and it's it's almost like it's leaving you, you know, and then your aura is more what's the word like vivid and more vibrant, intense word. Yeah, but I literally had the awareness and I even looked different in my physical being for a short time of that meditation.

It showed me a past life that I had gone through some of the same things. And that life must have really been one that was profoundly connected to this one, I'd say. So when that dissipated, it blew my mind because I've never seen that kind of example of letting go, right? You know, but this is it. We've got we've got a ton of things that we're always kind of trying to balance and hold up, you know, navigate. And some of it is like, you know, I don't know. Yesterday, my friend was mean to me, you know, like some of it is simple things like that you can, you know, work through. But some of this stuff is super deep, like it's not like something that you can just that's why people have themes in their life.

And I talk about themes in readings, like some people have, they don't understand it, but maybe in a past life, they've taken a vow of poverty. That vow of poverty, man, that one sticks. I got to tell you, I have I have talked to so many people. And when I get into the energy, I can tell that they have, for some reason, it's not always what you think it is. It's not always like in a religious aspect where somebody's given up their life to God or something. It's it's not always that sometimes a soul has made a contract almost like they have made an agreement in that life that if, you know, if my child is well, I don't care about anything else. I don't need money. I just need my child to be well.

So they've made a soul contract within their life to take this vow of poverty. So when you go back, you can go back many, many lifetimes and find these for some people and they're still struggling with poverty. So that theme that's in your life, that theme of something you are challenged or struggled by, that theme is there so that you see that that is what you have to work on to release. But because it's happened so many lives ago, most of us, most of us do not remember our past lives. So we don't know, you know, we don't know it's there. So what you're talking about is taking intentional meditation a moment. And Kim's very visual and she gets all these visuals.

You don't have to have a miraculous experience to release. You just have to have the intention. You just have to have the quiet moment, the dedication dedicate some time to yourself and just say to your energy field, I would like to release what no longer serves me. That's exactly what I say. And knowing that this May be back generations. This May be, you know, in the early part of your life. This could be something that happened in a different life altogether. But you're just asking to release what no longer serves you, what no longer supports you, but no longer holds you up. What no longer can lift you up or expand you. You don't need it anymore. And doing that, having that daily, even a daily intention, it will release things as you go.

And you will find that you are feeling stronger and you are feeling better in the higher vibration. So we're talking about release and letting go. But really what happens? What happens when you let go of a weight? You feel lighter, right? It's automatic. So so right. You let go of those weights and you feel elevated, right? You feel lighter. If you were holding on to weights, like holding on to weights in your hands and you'd be all slumped over trying to drag them on the ground, you know? But if you let them go, you can stand up straight and you can open your chest and you can be free, right? So so think about it that way. We're letting go so you can be lighter and free and elevate. Energetically, that's exactly what happens. Your energy, your vibration goes up.

Well, that's why they do those those retreats where they let everybody fill their backpack with stuff, right? Heavy things. And then they got to carry it up the mountain. Then they get on top of the mountain. They say, OK, now let go of that bag of rocks. Yeah. And the person's like, well, why did you make me carry it up here? Well, I'm trying to prove a point to you. Right. So and then they let it go and they're like, oh, my God. Because you got to get people to realize what what it's about. That whole idea has been like made fun of now. Like in comedies and things. And I think it is kind of funny. Actually, because we don't you don't have to do that. No, I know. Just pick up a rock. It's heavy. OK. It's heavy. Drop it. You're done. You don't have to climb up the mountain. It doesn't suffer. Yeah. Don't don't break your back here. No suffering. Yeah. So this is it. Awareness, right?

Then all emotions, all emotions are positive. So you want to release, have the awareness, realize that whatever emotions come are welcomed. And be grateful for them. Be grateful because they're there to help you, guide you, teach you. And then the coolest thing to take your power back is to shift focus to the present. So moving to the present moment and saying, OK, where am I right now? Gratitude for where you are. Gratitude for reality, knowing that you're not where you were. The people that have taken advantage of you cannot do it anymore. So you are stronger, you are more aware, you are paying attention. That's never going to happen to you again. Whatever you need to tell yourself, whatever it is in that moment, but shifting to the present, where are you right now?

And then gratitude, gratitude for the lessons, gratitude for the fact that you have learned, you have grown. And I think it's sometimes for me, that's one of the reasons why I like astrology, too, is we need to realize that we there's we're multifaceted. There's so many different parts of us. So you even think of astrology. There's some people that have a harder time letting go than others. They literally it's in their energy. It's part of their makeup. So some people have a harder time, just like sometimes I know in my own life, it's, you know, you you get sidetracked because you grow up in poverty, we'll say. So then your whole life, you're spending all your time trying to fight that by being successful. But are we being I see lots of people that are successful financially and they have a home and a house or a car and, you know, all these things, but do they have mental like stability?

You know, is their energy field being bombarded by all the things they've had to do to get successful because people have very tunnel vision about things. So I see a lot of people who because for me, it's about everything. It's about the whole package of being physically so mind, body and soul, right? So physically, mentally, spiritually, it's it's all of it. It's not one without the other. It's a balance of all. And I think life is a balance of everything. It's like too much of one thing isn't good for you. I'm very gruffy this morning. We were away and I woke up very tired this morning. I'm very happy. That's OK. Yeah, well, the reason we really wanted to dig into this today was because we talked about how in our what we noticed for us and other people, our clients, is that when they do get to the place where they're strong enough to let go, they make space for so many good things.

Right. And it's funny because I have I have this client and she tells me all the time. She's like, every time I talk to you, good things happen. But what she doesn't understand is that in our sessions, I have an intention, I have an unspoken intention for all my sessions to help the client feel that their energy has lifted and to help them notice that what it feels like to be in the higher vibration. And then I am my quiet intention is that they can release anything that doesn't serve them, anything that's in the lower vibrations. And so I I'm just always that's my silent, constant intention for sessions. And she so she's releasing every session we have.

And then, of course, she feels better. And then you make space for good things. You make space for better things to come into your life. And that that's the true gift when you when you can heal and release, when you do let go. The true gift is that there is an expansiveness that happens. And then better things have space to come into your life. So I always say it's like I always look at life like the Matrix or whatever, where, you know, it's like this incredible game. And if you make it to certain levels, you get these bonus points, bonus rounds, you know, and I look at life that way, because I really do feel like when you have the courage to go within and be honest with yourself and say, you know, I've been holding this for how long and has it served me? Well, you know, what how has it created my life to be better?

And I just find that's why I've I've really been learning to live in the moment because in the moment is where the beauty is. It's where the magic happens. It's in the awareness of where you are. What you've been through and and it's like you're, you know, we're not superheroes, even though sometimes I can't say I don't feel like a superhero. Sometimes I do, but it's because I'm in that positive charge of what we can do when we're on the right side of letting go. Right. So I'm going to use a relationship as an example. So this is how I feel about I feel about a lot of this and I'm just using kind of like a general example. But somebody's in a relationship and it's not great.

They're unhappy, but they love the person. So what I would get, somebody or a client would say to me like, but I love them and I can feel that the relationship isn't supportive or it isn't healthy. Maybe it's kind of toxic, you know, and we and the client's aware of the problems, but then they come back and they say, oh, but I love them. And my response to that is you can love somebody, but that doesn't mean you have to be with them. And how do you know what's possible if you don't let go of the if the if you don't let go of the toxic dysfunctional or abusive energy? How do you know what's possible in your life?

Right. And so I see people sometimes even after a relationship, they've already left, they've already done it, you know, left, or their or their spouse has passed away. And then they come to me years later and they say, but I really want to I really want to start dating, but it's not happening for me. Like I don't I meet people, they're not a match. I I don't know, like I really want a companion can't find anybody in their field because they have spent so much time thinking about this other person, whether it's grief or whether it's something else in their field, that person is still there. So when they go out in the world, other people sense that there is no space for them in that person's energy field. So they haven't made the space for a new relationship.

They haven't made peace with their old relationship. They haven't been able to let go. And there's no judgment. It's, you know, these things happen when they're supposed to happen. But if you're actively out there looking for a partner, but you haven't healed the stuff from your old relationship, you're only going to attract the similar problems. You're going to attract a similar problem. If your if your spouse was very ill, they're your entire marriage and they pass away, you May attract another ill person because in your field, that's what's living there because you haven't actually you haven't actually released it yet. That's how abusive patterns continue. You're an abusive relationship that you May have left and you May have done the work, felt like you done the work and healed.

But in your energy field, there's been no work. There's been no intention to release what's in your energy field. So you continue the pattern. You attract the same kind of person again. Well, I think if we both talked about our past lives, meaning in this life, our last older relationship, the thing I really noticed is when I left that relationship, it didn't take long. And I remember like I just weight was falling off of me and I wasn't doing anything to create that. But it was just this letting go. And through time and experience being with somebody different, I started realizing that a lot of the things I thought were mine were not mine. They were just insecurities being mirrored by my partner to me because I actually found I was very comfortable in my own body.

And I used to really have a negative idea of my body image. And it was funny because when I was younger, I had a perfect build and then through being a mom and a wife and life, wife, you know, I became what I'd call a little fluffy and I had these body image problems like mirroring, like so standing in the mirror when you get a shower and all the negative talk. And then once I left my old partner and I was with you in a new relationship, I started realizing that it those things weren't there anymore. And it took it took time, but it was because there was an awareness that I didn't feel that way anymore. So then I'd be standing in the mirror and even today, if I was standing in the mirror after a shower, I would say, thank you, body, because man, have I ever put you through a lot of shit?

You know, and you've supported me and you've been there for me and I'm so much more grateful. But I love myself in a way. I never I don't believe I would have gotten there as easy had I stayed in that old relationship. That was, you know, you can't stay with someone that you're the one that wants to move forward and awaken and be aware, have this new awareness and this new experience of life and the way you look at it and the way you honor it and have gratitude for it. If you're still in that old energy of that person, so you just choose. It's not that you don't love them. You don't love them like that anymore because you know that this is as far as it can go. So the way I look at my life is, you know, there's all these things that I don't regret anything in my life because I believe and I trust what I chose.

So if I trust what I chose, I have to trust that that life or that contract was done. So there's no need to even go into the negative about it. It's like, this is what happened. This is where I'm at. This is why I'm here and this is where I want to go, right? But it's just this it's this whole process of letting go. There's some letting go is real simple. It's like you get to a place where, you know, you go, you know, why am I drinking alcohol anymore? I enjoy the drink without the alcohol just as much. It costs money. It's not good for me. It overheats me, blah, blah, blah. And you just go, well, I'm not going to do that anymore. And then it becomes a pattern on a different side. So it's on the positive side, right? Not that there's anything wrong with drinking and moderation. I have no problem with drinking.

It's just I did I did a lot of it. I really enjoyed it for as long as I did. Now I just don't. But it's these awarenesses that hit me in moments that I go, wow, when you give yourself the space to let go, you give your space, you give yourself space to grow. And that growth can magnify into the most incredible life. Like, I feel like I'm living the life right now. I love playing in the dirt. And I love being able to be outside in nature because to me, I'm just in in the universe is like. So yeah, and that's all I do is hear the universe talk to me. I hear spirit talk to me crystal clear outside. Whereas if I go out shopping, I'm not going to hear this good.

But you made you made a really good point, because you said that at some point there was an awareness for you that there was no more growth to be had in that relationship. Right. And that is how we know it's it you can it can be hard. And it's it can be sad, like the reality of this, but not everybody can go where you're going. And you May be on a path where you are releasing, opening up your healing and then starting to notice that there's too much of a gap between you and some of the people in your life. And the that happens sometimes the contract is and ended completely. Sometimes we are aware, like my contract with that person is done.

And I have had that experience multiple times with not just in my marriage, but with friends and certain family members and things. So you you can't help it. They feel it too. They might not want to admit it, but they feel it to that the contract is done. And you are elevating and you are moving and you are looking after yourself. So no one else is going to look after your sacred life force energy, but you. And so you have to realize that sometimes moving ahead and allowing yourself to elevate heal is the best thing for you. And the people that are meant to come with you on that path will come with you. They will find a way. Absolutely. And I wrote a few notes down here.

I said, you know, we have to accept our reality, feel our feelings, forgive yourself and others, practice mindfulness. And if you need to talk to somebody, find a friend, a counselor, a family member that you're really close with, you know, whatever. You know, a funny thing went in my old relationship. The person that I would go to to talk to about my partner would be his oldest sister. And it would be like I don't know what I would have done without her because there was things about their personality, his personality that I didn't understand the family dynamic. Yeah. And so I needed help. So she was always the person and it was his oldest sister. But she was the person I always went to because she understood what I was needing help with. Right.

And I was always grateful for that. And there's there's always whoever you find in your life. It is so important because, you know, you you really deserve to have all the things you want in this life, whether they be physical. For me, internal internal turmoil is something I lived in all the time. And I do not live in that anymore. You know, it doesn't mean there's still not things in our life that affect me. You know, your kids are younger. My kids are older. There's 11 years between us. There's still challenges, but they're not the same anymore because they're like removed, you know, so it's not like I'm in. I think when we're parents were it like we're in the eye of the storm. So we're learning things as we go and we got to like learn how to duck and run real fast and stay still and pivot and all those things.

But now you have perspective right now. My perspective as a grandparent is we all judge. And as long as you're not judging in a vindictive way, you know, it's very normal to judge and we look at young parents and we have this judgment. But really, they're all learning and they're going to figure it out. And we can think, oh, that's so terrible that you didn't, you know, kiss your kids, boo boo or whatever. Like every again, it goes back to if we trust what we chose, we wouldn't have so much judgment. We would go, they'll figure it out and we would give them their energy and we would hold our sacred. But we don't. We we get in there and, you know, I there's certain people in our life. It's every time we're around them, it's like this negative, negative, negative. And I'm like, oh, dear God, I'm so glad I'm not there anymore.

And I feel for them and I will that's their lesson. Right. But I'll send them, I'll talk to their higher self. I'll send them energy or whatever. And sometimes like there are times when, you know, you can say something very supportive and something good, like reflective. But I don't think we need to. I don't think we need to get involved, you know, that deeply. Yeah, because you're honestly, you're already a part of many people's lesson. Right. And so don't make yourself up and more stuff if you don't have to. Amen, sister. That's what I say. So think about, think about what can you let go of? What is no longer serving you? And think about how you might release that. Stay in awareness of your emotions and make space for good stuff.

Because I'm telling you, there is so much goodness coming. We May have a great divide in our population and thinking right now. But the people that are committed to making this world a better place are they're just blowing up right now. And it's just it's a beautiful thing. We are creating a beautiful space. And gratitude, gratitude, gratitude. I it is the best attitude. I love gratitude because it's just such a powerful, positive affirmation to to bring into your life every day, every night, every, you know, I'm an idiot. I go outside and I buy all these little wounded plants and then I bring them back and I nurture them and then they're blooming like right now. There's yellow, pink, red roses all coming out of these poor little little tiny rose bushes that I've been nursing for months.

And they've really looked like they were near death's door. And now they are vibrant and beautiful and in our garden. And and it just makes me see that sometimes things, everything is worth it. Right. But it's about how much energy do you want to, you know, waste? Yeah. Before or exude before you realize that, you know, love is the gift. Gratitude is the gift. This is a beautiful life and we want you to get out there and live it and let go of as much as is possible. But don't don't worry that, you know, you can't always let go of the big stuff. It takes time and you're going to know when you get there. That's right. So we'll talk to you next week.
